I've had the H7 for 3 months now, it's my first e- bike. Those little shock absorbers on the back are so stiff you'd have to weigh 300+ pounds for them to do anything. I think they're just for show. You might as well consider this a hard tail. I replaced the saddle with one with workable springs and that helped some. The front chain ring is too small, so you're ghost pedaling if using anything other than the smallest gear on the cassette, so I keep the bike in 7th all the time. The steering is too loose, going over 25 on this thing is scary, but maybe it's just my bike, the guy in the video was riding with no hands; that's not possible on mine unless you want to crash. Other than all that, it's a great bike, I like it ! It's got a huge battery and with the two motors enough power to pull a trailer with my dog and cargo up big hills-- that capability is a big deal for me, more important than top speed. It also has a step- through frame-- easy to mount. I don't have a car, this is my daily transportation, not a play toy. I think you get a lot of bang for your buck with this bike. However, this in my first e- bike, the only one I've ever ridden, and I don't have the experience to compare it to others, but I think I got a good deal.

I have a Wallke too! Love it! I would recommend that you air up your front tires if it feels “too loose.” When I have the front tires too low, it felt as if it wanted to turn to its max steering position on its own. Just air it up and it feels much more stable.

This will be my first ebike as well. WAs considering a high performance scooter as well. How do you like it so far? Worth the money? Any problems? Did you get it on Amazon or through their website? I'm 6'2 and 300 lbs.

@@firstinlastout the motor, frame, battery capacity, carrying capacity, price, range and brakes have been awesome! However, the suspension and the kickstand are terrible. I think it’s fair considering the pros vs the cons. The customer service has been great in addressing my issues, which were the suspension and sent me replacements ASAP. I ride with my fiancé in the back (about 400lbs together) through NYC, and it handles it like a champ, including the long and steep inclines of crossing the bridges. You would have to spend much more money to get a bike with quality parts and the same motor/battery/chassis performance. Actually, I’m unsure if such a bike exists yet.

Just got back from my 103 mile morning ride, so I love these long range bikes. I can see taking off the rear seat and mounting another battery for more range [I know, I am crazy] I guess you never have enough LOL. This bike I am sure will be more than enough for most people. Removing the battery would make it much easier to load. I do like the idea of a step thru.

It’s cousin, the H9, which is exactly the same but with a folding frame instead of the step through frame, allows you to add an additional 20ah battery in the frame!

@@chrissetterbut would you trust the structural integrity of a folding bike? Think about that. Also, the H9 has an adjustable handlebar height height... This H7 does not!
@chrissetter
@chrissetter 4 ай бұрын
@@firstinlastout so far so good. The H9 has a pretty stout and thick frame. The relatively vast surface area of where the two halves join seem more than enough to provide some good strength. An added bonus is that it allows me to stow away a sizable repair kit inside the frame hidden from thieves. I actually purchased the H7 first since I like the step over design better, but after learning that it would take over a month and a half to arrive, I switched the order to an H9. I appreciate both frame designs. I was able to put the H9 in the trunk of the car this weekend too. The H7 wouldn’t have been able to do that. Like I said, I enjoy the pros of each design. I don’t really care for its adjustable handlebars since it’s pretty tall at its lowest point. But I really like the ability for the handlebars to fold! I use that feature all the time!

Mine has 1000w on back and 750w on front. Saddle is garbage, but the bike is great. Huge! But also great. Saddle is easy to replace. I also got a suspension seatpost which makes up for the lame rear suspension 👍

Citizen, lots of owners of the latest generation Wired Freedom are complaining about severe front wheel and handlebar wobble on their bikes. Some are saying it may be attributed to rear suspension linkage arms that are too flimsy. Can you please make a video with your experience and thoughts about the stability of the bike? I especially want to know if you can confidently ride it no-handed without wobble. Lots of orders are being cancelled. I've really been considering one, but like so many others I'm not so sure now.

The wobble is caused by the center of gravity shifting to the rear with the addition of the 13 pound rear rack battery. Remove the rear rack battery and the bike is stable. And yes, it can happen to any bike.

Truth is, I over-bought when I got my Wallke H6. It weighs about a hundred pounds. Plenty of power, even without a front motor and "only" a 750 watt motor in back, peak up to about 1200 W. On a full charge it will reach 34 mph throttle only for about 5 miles. After that, it tapers off to about 28, then down to about 22 as the battery runs below 25 percent. Still, it will go at least 30 miles at 20 + mph with no pedaling, so it won't leave you stranded on any kind of normal ride.

I really like my wallke bikes and I’ve had a few e-bikes over the past decade one thing I don’t understand though is with the all-wheel-drive they have thousand watt front and rear hub motor but my H6max has a 1200 W rear motor Regardless how they have things set up with their bikes quality is on point Keep up with the awesome videos, friend 🤘🏻

Side note, I realized in the video you said there was no information on your controller which is odd. If you happen to make a follow-up video of this bike it would be cool if you could show the controller that's in the bike for reference My h6 Max controller is rated at 28 amps and does not look like you're run of the mill generic controller and also noticed compared to all-wheel drive and my h6 Max they both have top speed the same But guaranteed the h7 would have a quicker acceleration

@@Ns17105That MAY have been true before Wired lengthened the rear swingarm to improve controller clearance without taking into consideration how that change would affect handling. Now the Wired is less than stable and, IMO, borderline unsafe as delivered. I won't be surprised to hear that the longer rear swingarm is failing due to metal fatigue, too.

You can do all that easily with this bike, I know because I did. 11-34 8 speed though with trigger shifters. Shocks were a bit tougher to find that fit but managed to find a set. 56t crank and throttle 11-34 made a big difference. The new shocks were nice but they didn't make as big of a difference

the only thing id wish for on that is a 24" tire - yeah 20" is just a bit low for off road riding. we wont mention the pedal "scrubs" I like that term better than the pedal strike :) I heard a guy call it "scrub" and that sounds better than strike. And yeah I get the scrubs going thru the ruts or the berms along the dirt roads.

And what is with 48T ? If it folded I'd be totally blown away. But to fail to put 52T or bigger on it is SO absurd. Otherwise this bike seems to have it all (except torque-sensor), bmx, 203, suspended rear deck, these are correct offerings. Who else does it? What about service? What about brake pads delivered in 7-days or less? These are typically FAILS. For the price why not throw in four sets of pads?
