This song hits me like a mountain in my heart. My bother never knew he was going to pass away from a heartattack. He was a healthy 20 year old. Before he passed he listened to all city and colour songs and especially this one. About three months before he passed he randomly told me that if he ever died, he wanted to be cremated and his ashes set free on his favourite Mountain. Crazy thing is, he was also listening to this when he went on a little walk with earphones in his ears when he had his heartattack. So it's really beautiful, all the little messages he gave us before it happened and I will always remember him through these songs

My best friend died last week. 40 years old. Heart attack walking out the door. I can relate to your story. I hope you're doing well. This song is heavy for me also.

This music means sooo much to me. When I had the chance to see him live tears were flowing uncontrollably.

I remember seeing him at a show about this size about 15 years ago. He broke a string and stopped a song to change it midsong and started over. Equally amazing to this day to see a raw performance by Dallas. One of the greats.

I listened to this song on repeat when I lost my grandfather. It was one of the main songs that helped me work through my grief. Even now and then when I play it on my guitar, I tear up a little.

this song always reminds me that we are simple bodies, but complex minds... we will dance together in the after ❤

That Martin. That is HIS guitar. The sound he gets out of it is something special, add his voice and it’s literal musical perfection 🥹

Possibly harmonica lovers. Definitely not the same without it, although I didn't dislike it.

I'd say it's a good chance the 2 are random misclicks too lazy to change it back or too unobservant to notice they misclicked. I mean.... has to be. Hahaha Nah, never discount people's lack of good taste.

Just went to a funeral for my uncle today. Died of addiction.I am an addict that constantly screws up. Even with a newborn. I hear this song so hard. I don’t want to die. But When I drink I welcome death… we go to some cold places but death is death. Unless you care about something more than yourself

I'm 30 years old. Been dealing with drugs and alcohol since I was about 14. Just hang in there. I also have issues to this day, but you can never give up. Even when it feels like it won't get better, it will. Just gotta wait it out. Keep going, friend, it's worth it.

Hey man. Just lost my friend to addiction today. Do everything you can to make a change. Please ask for help, there is no shame in that. The only shame is a life cut short. Please try and get the help you need, not just for those around you but ultimately for yourself. I am heartbroken right now and wishing I could of done something different for my friend.

Really??!!??? I feel so so bad and sympathetic for the ONE person (at the time of 9/16/20) that not only felt or found a reason but enough to actually click the dislike button for this amazing song and even better artist. The reason i go with pity instead of being mad about it is that i guess you never know what someone has or is going through. Whatever the reason though still makes me sad for that individual, because they are obviously unable to accurately see or hear PERFECTION AND GREATNESS when its right smack in front of them and oh the difficulties they must have to face on a daily basis.

A strong, thoughtful and empathetic case - but in the end, there is no accounting for taste. Just like every song has at least one person who holds it as their favourite, there's one out there who just really doesn't like it. Thanks for sharing, Jay. 🤘
