£699 - What you need to know about the leaders is that none of them are the University of Sankore.

So... I guess they are all worthless then. Do we yet know whether the University will continue its glorious existence as a wonder?

Every time i see mountains in civ 7, i think, that mountain needs a scout climbing it for recon! Like advanced wars where infantry can climb mountains. But in civ 7 i reckon the scouts and unique scouts should only be able to climb mountains for a defensive bonus, get extended sight and reveal hidden armies
@UrsaRyanАй бұрын
I honestly think this would be a really cool feature - we'll have to keep pitching it

Pairing Trung Trac with Rome, you could research Discipline as second civic which grants you a free Legatus with 3 Promotions, which means you can get a free extra town quite early and the 20% extra xp on Commanders would make it easier to get a few more free towns out of the Legatuses.

This is the kind of thinking we want to see! It makes you realise why the mixed leaders/civs approach is so exciting even though it breaks historical links.

Very info, much knowledge! Still going to play Isabella first, but now I have some other cultural/eco people to try out (along with Machiavelli just for the chaos. Might save him for when I play multiplayer with my buddy.)

He does look like the sort of leader that would be hilarious in multiplayer

Don't forget the Ursa Ryan persona, he likes Civs that have fewer railroads than him, and hates Civs that have more. He also gets bonuses to Nuke production...

This video kinda confirms a suspiction of mine: It will be a bit forced to fit Hawai'i in the current roster of leaders and civilizations, even though I'm quite excited about playing with them.
@lametrain9667Ай бұрын
Hawaii seems disappointing to me unfortunately. No bonuses towards exploration/seafaring and incredibly all-in on Culture but they gain it from doing a bunch random things that don’t really synergies with each other. Maybe they’re strong if religion is all you care about in the Exploration Age.
@UrsaRyanАй бұрын
We'll have to see how stuff stacks up - they could well be a map situational civ that either rocks or suffers - but I wouldn't be surprised if they end up being quite useful

i love everything about this new civ except the changing countries mechanic, wdym you can rule Mongolia as Charlemagne?? 😭😭
@VKNGofficialАй бұрын
I totally agree
@ItchaBoiАй бұрын
I thought so too, but the gameplay variety opens up so much with this that I'm okay with it, and it leans into the alternate history aspect that's always been a part of Civ
@UrsaRyanАй бұрын
The bit that sold me on the changing civ option is that you get to keep most of the buildings, quarters and social policy cards even after you change. So you'll always have most of the abilities even if you're called something different. It will take some getting used to but I don't think it will actually feel like you lose much moving civs
@jimbo560321 сағат бұрын
Will there be a British Empire modern Civ, I wonder? There's huge scope for a Wessex -> England -> Britsh Empire historical pathway with leaders like Alfred the Great, Elizabeth I or Winston Churchill.
@Lerial-v8qАй бұрын
The take from this is "Why not consider Mongolia?". Are they that strong or is it just the Ursa Ryan way of playing that shows? :)
