Way bigger throttle body for that engine. Hell, even bigger for the k20 and those engines breath like crazy compared to a r18. I guess you got a sweet deal on the 80mm k tuned throttle body

@@CivicR18Story I wouldn't say perfect as far as volumetric efficiency goes. Bigger dosent mean it's better. At atmospheric pressure there is a certain amount of max air the cylinder can suck in given the opening and closing of the valves. So unless you change the cams and increase air flow on the head a 70mm TB will do the same as your 80mm. End of the day engine is an air pump. At 80mm you are loosing low down torque alot

And I over size the valve and expand the port to get a new ratio for intake and exhaust that is not like normal R18 engine, and many things that you don't know yet about my engine. ​@@CivicR18Story Im doing the same complet modify my r18a1 engine, and make a sleeper race street car my 2 door civic, loosing a lot of weight, i have stoptech i install a cold air intake and i feel a lot gain of power, 7 monts ago my engine block have a crack and bended 3rd cilinder conecting rod, now i weld and repair the monoblock and i get a skunk2 stage 2 camshaft, 255lt/hr and e85 capable fuelpump, H beam forged conecting rods with 3/8 steel bolts rated for +1000hp, new time chain kit with lighter camchain driven sprocket than oem, i will port my intake and exhaust ports of engine head w dimple golf patern to get the better airflow posible and not touching combustion chamber to not lower compresion, i will lighweigth valvetrain system w brian crower steel moly spings and titanium retainers, and other some modifications, can you advise and sugest me better modications like your car have? i want to know how do you achieve cilinder capacity over 2000cc and how you install a r20 crankshaft on a r18 engine, and what oversize valves(¿intake or exhaust valve?) do you install? and where you get it? i only find one website can sell only +.5mm oversisize exhaust stainless steel valves, im doing a lot of resarch to how reinforce and make more power on this engine, next steps is acura rdx map sensor,change pistons and bore oversize, bigger flow injectors, 3`` custom full exhaust system. hondata, lighweight and underdrive aluminum puleys, better clutch, ram air breater, battery relocation to trunk etc bereforehand than you.

You should start at the intake system. Throttle body + Short ram air intake is appropriate.

You just make it without any air leaks. Size reduction with spacers is not necessary because it is not pressure.
