I bought a brand on Amazon that was like 40 dollars, had good reviews so hopefully they last. Good video though, one guy I watched took his tires off and reached up behind the fender liner. Which is crazy to change a light

I have a '14 Si and tried these Diode Dynamics for my high beams. They don't work unfortunately.

What did you end up using for your high beams? I’ve been looking for something that’s compatible with the DRL.

@@eddiemcars Currently they're still stock. I will have to call tech support for Diode Dynamics. Until I can solve the problem, they'll remain stock.

I ended up taking out the Diode Dynamics and going with another brand. Cut off is better and they are less than half the cost.

Hey thanks for the video. I'm installing SL1 onto my 2012 Civic right now. Did you run into any problems when installing your SL1? Was it an easy install? My SL1 seem to be unable to seat fully to be able to be twisted in. There seems to a clearance issue between the collar and the base of the bulb.

I did have issues, but I was able to finally get the teeth to catch. I did get rid of them for the Hikari on Amazon because they were dazzling other drivers. I made another video on that.

@@eddiemcars HI Edward, thanks for your reply. Did you basically just push as hard as you could and twist? Was this the method in getting the teeth to catch? I've watch both of your videos, and based on your review and my current experience of the SL1, I'm not too excited about them. Thanks again!

Yes, I had to push to get it to catch. That was the hardest part for the install.

Hows the cut off if you aim the headlights against a wall at night. Does it scatter a lot of light?

The cut off was ok but not great unfortunately. It seems to scatter a little bit. I made another video on a another LED headlight I tried yesterday and I’m pleased with the results. It has the ability to adjust the beam and it’s was only $35 compared to $150 for the SL1s. I know people who have had good experiences with the SL1 on other vehicles but for the civic application I do not recommend. I will upload the video tonight or tomorrow.

@@eddiemcars cant wait. I also wasted 150 on some "name brand" leds and they were horrible. They were extremely bright but the light would hit and blind anyone coming my way.
