there are rather completely different roles and ATM pay looks better for quantity surveyors.

Yes it is! there are some 5 day courses as well, but in general you can start as an engineer assistant/chain person and start engineering career this way.

Hello sir, I've been on the channel before when I was applying to study civil engineer, I am currently in my second year of university and I am stuck between doing an MENG or stay on the BENG. Im scared I might be too qualified with an MENG outside of the UK , what do you think about the MENG , is it worth the extra year. Also how do you recommend applying to and getting an internship.

Hard to say really, you need to stary active looking for work. There will be an interview on the channel with a graduate from India, so I hope it will help you :)

Hi sir How much would a setting out engineer earn, With 2 years experience in construction In the UK?

Depends if PAYE, or SE, but I would say >250£ a day - but someone who can go and do setting out him/herself, take drawings and go to site with not many questions. Some people after 2 years can easily do it, some are still junior level really, so depends what one can do :)

I done my graduation in civil engineering from pakistan but recently I completed my masters in business management with project management from Uk. As my both degrees don’t have such connection but I want to work in civil engineering field. For that i got white CSCS card but still struggling about the job because i don’t have so much experience in civil engineering field but 6months as an assistant engineer back to pakistan.
