Civrays InMoov - Starting the torso

The third video in the series shows building the beginnings of a torso for the Civrays InMoov. The backplate, center and front plate are built up. The neck is added and then the head attached.
In part four the neck servo will be added and an Arduino for control.

I'm kinda stalled because I can't get the fingers working. I don't understand why they don't work and I can't seem to get any help. I hope to pickup this project again this year.

@@SteveRaynerMakes Think I'm only going to finish the torso and shoulders. I was torn between Imoov and Poppy from the start. Poppy seems like a lot more thought out and an easier build. I hate that you have to fight with every piece on Imoov to make it fit. But again thanks for the vids.

Hej Steve, what do you use to fill the pla before priming? thanks

Wood filler, but I don't like it. It's too soft. I would like to try automotive body filler.

That's the really great thing about this project. You can start anywhere. I started with the eyes, then gradually completed the whole head. I think most people start with the hand. That's where Gael started the whole project initially. I would recommend starting with the hand because you can get some quick results that will give you the motivation to keep going. Head over to the inmoov.fr website. Look for the "inmoov stl parts library" under the "gallery" menu. From there you can start downloading the parts. Also on that site you can find instructions. If you start building be sure to sign up on the inmoov.fr website and share photos and videos of you progress. You can also ask questions to get help.
