Watched the documentary and I’m throughly convinced. No more dairy, grains, and processed foods.

Her attitude in not very productive… less swearing more hearing is a good goto… Nice take on interesting topic though, as always. Will love to watch the docu! We really love Holy Cow, also. Cutting to the core of the issue: can we join forces on the basis of good ethical intentions? Kindness? Seeing how vegans and ethical meat eaters are actually after the same goals. It is a good way of looking at it, not to bury outselves in the trenches… Easy to be sooo mislead by ”experts”, and propaganda. I think most ”experts” and propagandists are just like most, misleading themselves as well… or caring too much about being ”right”, and about ”winning”…

Paleoism and veganism are extremes, and as with extreme politics, extreme diets should be viewed with great caution. If you research paleo/carnivore/keto, high fat/low carb diets you'll find lots of convincing arguments. If you investigate vegan, low fat/high carb you'll find just as convincing arguments. One side scoffing at the other and saying their opponent's science is wrong...is wrong. Each side can build seemingly flawless arguments. Very true that vegans can't get all necessary nutrients. However, the fact remains that large, randomized studies over decades show that diets high in fat, red meat, and protein is associated with shorter life spans (mortality), and decreased cardiovascular health. Those are the pertinent facts--not our evolution. Weight loss, physical fitness, etc. can be achieved, but at what cost to your heart? Sorry people, the studies are out there. Keto and paleo benefits are largely documented from anecdotal studies that really aren't worth the paper they're written on. Eating carbs doesn't have to mean eating crap. Eating whole, healthy carbs raises insulin less than fat does. Sorry people, excess fat promotes insulin resistance more than excess carbs. Want health? Take the middle course and go Mediterranean, variations of which are what the healthiest people on earth eat. Eat a little red meat, eat lots of fish, and don't be afraid of complex carb foods.

I am not a vegan but there is so much in this video that is not true about the digestion process and false statements .just disappointing ! As for people lining up at emergency rooms well I am a nurse and I can tell you you won’t see many vegans but we have seen many come in that have attempted eating keto / carnivore and have developed blood clots , CVA (stroke ) , MI (heart attack) etc. twisted bowels and it goes on and on . We NEED the fiber in fruits and vegetables . We do not need the processed grains or and the amount of meat or meat at all as they would like you to believe . This lady presents herself horribly . She constantly is throwing out profanity that I don’t want to hear . You don’t need fake meat or any processed vegan food . These people are not experts and talk about propaganda !!!!! I’m not even a vegan but I am a health profession and I do understand the science

Lost me at, when we started to look like us now! Ugh! We did not come from monkeys! Now my friends kids liberal teacher is saying we come from trees! Lol. That’s more truthful if you wanna go that route. God made us in HIS IMAGE not a dang monkey. He says in the Bible that“ From dirt we came to dirt (Ashes) we shall return.“ He made Adam from the clay in the earth and Eve out of the man’s rib!

OMG!!! He has aged. I saw a video of him, which was 7 years back, and he was looking awesome! I can’t believe this is him now. Now I am completely confused as what diet to follow. Here is the link to the 7 year old video I was referring to kzbin.info/www/bejne/q364q5t3o9qCsLc

sainted100, Jumping to conclusions serves no one. While personal, I have spoken about this on Elles Podcast, so I don't mind mentioning it here as it might serve someone. The changes I experienced, such as extreme weight loss, 30-lbs in 60 days (grey hair comes by itself) had nothing to due with diet. It was due to being prescribed the wrong medicine. Something that happens to people, unfortunately, more often than you might expect. Something I would hope you never experience.
