What point is an adcc medal when the majority of the best grapplers are at cji

The only grapplers that matter will be at ADCC. CJI is basically B-Team and friends. Other than the young bucks going to CJI.. we ain’t missing anyone who’s gonna actually end up on the podium.

I'd love to hear Izaak's perspective on his fallout with Craig. The only thing we've heard was that Izaak wanted part ownership of the bteam gym and left when he didn't get his way

Its the same story you hear with every single BJJ gym in existence when they take on coaches and the coaches want more money than the gym is making at the same time the head coaches want them to work more hours and cover more classes. B-teams biggest failure atm is the size of their training facility. I feel like if they did like Legion/Keenan did and expanded the space they could have more members and more classes and things would have worked out

@@megabjjx Yeah, it seemed like CJI put out a general call for athletes to show interest, and those that did were listed/prioritized. Those that didn't, weren't. Who knows tho?

I'm deep into wrestling this week, watching my Dake, Amit and the rest of the USA team in action, but I am really looking forward to both the ADCC and the CJI next week. Best of luck to both of you. An afterthought: thinking about why I enjoyed this talk so much, it occurs to me that it's only relatively recently, that the two worlds of wrestling and Jiu Jitsu, are enjoying open and wholesome collaborations like this one. We were super fortunate (back in the day) for having legends like Bob Anderson on our Jiu Jitsu mat in LA, helping us with wrestling basics, at a time when the wrestlers were often seen as a 'threat' in the wider BJJ community. arm drags, ducks, singles, doubles, High-c, russian ties, etc were all a part of our take on Jiu Jitsu - it it gave us a huge edge. Now though, this cross-pollination is becoming more common on the Jiu Jitsu landscape - and Jiu JItsu is really benefiting from it. Convo's like this ... only boost that whole dynamic. Thanks again.
