The only thing about palworld I don’t like is that some type combos (Fire/Grass, Water/Lightning, Ice/Lightning) would work great as varients, but we don’t have them right now. Hoping it’s planned in the future though

I could see the devs improving the mod support later on, and add a way for people to add 100% custom pals. Maybe even outright give fans PERMISSION to make fan games, something else Nintendo doesn't allow. Just think, Pokemon Fan games rebranding as Palworld fan games. Uranium or Radioactive Pals would TOTALLY work. Power your base with a radioactive pals.

Grass/Water is a combo I'd like to see, since they could be good at both Planting & Watering, which would make them great for operating your farm(s) pretty much by themselves. And then you could save on a handful of Base slots for Pals with more specialized abilities.

@@gamester512 Broncherry Aqua is a Grass/Water! It’s a Lvl 3 Watering pal only though, so sadly it’s not a better Broncherry, just a more efficient Elphidran Aqua in terms of water power. It has no other skills either

@@popclamp3508 Forgot about Broncherry Aqua. :P Still, I'd rather see a Grass/Water with both Planting & Watering. It would even make sense for such a Pal to be meant for later in the game too, as it would free you up to do other stuff while not needing to worry about keeping yourself and your pals fed as much (which by then should be a largely "automated" and self-sufficient part of your base). Though one thing I only recently noticed is that if you are having Pal(s) cook Cake, when it's done, the Pals will automatically deposit the Cake in your Breeding Pen, rather than in one of the Feed Bowls or Coolers.

Future updates will likely focus on other types. Sakurajima seemed to primarily add Neutral types, and then Feybreak added a bunch of Dark types. So perhaps next update will focus on a different type like Fire, Grass, or Water.

IMO, the standout Pals for me (and I'm counting this mainly with regards to their usefulness when deployed at your base) from Feybreak are Splatterina (Level 4 Handiwork just like Anubis makes her great both to be working at a base), Azurmane (Level 4 Electricity Generation makes it very easy to maintain a strong power supply at your base), Bastigor (it's an amazing Base Pal due to level 4 Cooling as well as Level 3 Mining & Lumbering), & Prunelia (Level 3 Gardening makes her great for keeping your farms working efficiently). My "Honorable Mentions" would probably go to Nyafia (level 3 Handiwork makes it almost as useful as Anubis & Splatterina) & Nitemary (similar reasons, there are Pals that can do anything Nitemary can but better, but she's still useful to have around). Combat-wise, I feel like just about any Pal can work really well provided you put enough time and effort (and possibly breeding) into them.

It's handy for bosses as well since it starts off with Poison Fog which does no damage but is guaranteed to poison the target, and that can really help to whittle down the health of bosses more quickly.

Caprity Noct produces sweet berries when in a harsh environment, but makes literal poison in the ranch, so I guess despite all the memes about the player being a cruel taskmaster they actually take great care of their Pals.

Huh so Nitemary is basically Litwick, but a ghost bunny. Doing things out of love. Also more of these new pals sound like they would fit in that Joke dating sim they joked about last april... Which I still believe they will make that game since.. It wouldn't have the mechanics Nintendo sued them for. So another source on income for pocketpair.

It's very disappointing. The raids ruined everything. The developers just don't understand what made the original release so fun. That feeling of excitement and hope when challenging Jormuntide for the first time. Then Blazamut. Then eventually building up to Frostallion. Then Jetragon. Every new pal presents 0 challenge except for the raid. Basically, another lazy Sakurajima update. Just with more gimmicks.

Challenging the world bosses was never meant to be hard. Like ever. Even in the beginning. Jetragon and the other legendaries were jokes, and the overworld pal bosses could be beaten multiple levels lower than them. The only challenges in this game are and have always been the tower bosses and the raid bosses. They do understand what makes the game fun for most, I think you don’t. It’s fine to have an opinion but you state it like a fact, and it’s not. sure challenging the overworld bosses was fun for the first time, but the moment you understand them, they become nothing more than a joke.

Stop crying bruh. Obviously once you beat the world bosses for the first time you're gonna realize they aren't hard. Difficulty does not always equal fun. Find your own enjoyment in the game. If you can't then play something else. But to sit and act like the game is objectively bad just because you want the game to be extra difficult, is asinine. Go play elden ring or something
