His fragile persistence self serving ego is the cause of his woes, if he was able to truly lose it or at least get help for it then I would say he would be deserving of pity, I have no pity for someone who willingly serves his own ego won't seek help and won't see it as a problem, and he won't be able to look into the mirror but the moment he did, it would burn him like the sun on a vampire. Ive reflected the sun on one or two in my life they would rather you angry at them then ever give them a heartfelt kind criticism, or be forgotten, all NPD people like him aren't even able to see what they are doing as wrong cause hes caught in his own loop, if you knew one and were closed to one, and they asked you tell them when their acting a certain way, explained what they did calmly and clearly, they would have no idea.
