@Schmeagenheimer I find the line 'let me be the lonely one!' so psychotic and malicious, and I've never heard the line used before. The idea of them being the only two left is nothing new, lots of games come down to 'it's just you and me', but a murderer admitting he's going to be lonely, but still completely set on killing the only other person around. Also, the blue-balling afterwards completes it, with all the ferocity and intensity being stolen away, and you hear the dissapointment in his 'what' as he realizes it too.

What makes this trope so scary is that the killer is completly devoit of any and all regard for the victim and just concerned with themselves, which means talkin is never going to be an option and you don't want to imagin what the inside of their mind looks like. And Stans voiceacting is on point which is the cherry on top.
