@@hrsmp average height is not 6'0 mate and the reason you stopped growing was because most boys stop growing at around the ages of 16-17. In most developed countries average heighr is like 5'8 or 5'9 and clarence in 5'10 which is not bad. Weight training stunting your growth is all a myth unless your training with bad form which can cause injury and stunt growth

Given that he strengthened them since he was 12 I would be surprised if they didn't. If you don't stress/load your joints (the proper way of course) they get weak and you'll end up with injuries, it's not the contrary.

What's really incredible though is how relatively unassuming you remained the whole time, like you're obviously jacked but no one would expect you to be squatting 500 fucking lbs at that size regardless of your age. @@N3G4T3 nah , to each their own. People do bodybuilding , pl , yoga , calisthenics etc . Some want to look good, some want to be more flexible etc . Each have their own pros and cons . I lift for time under tension and sometimes lift what i would consider heavy . So i can have strength but also look like i lift . Too many powerlifters don't even look like they lift. Which is something i don't like.

I just personally think that powerlifting is the best of them, remaining unassumingly strong is great for giving yourself the upper hand in dangerous situations, and it's funny seeing people's reactions.

Hell, after the Gyms in my city were allowed to reopen I was already watching so many of Clarence's squats, snatches and clean and jerk videos. He's also the reason why I've stopped skipping leg day. I even resurfaced my old highschool tanktops so I could look like him. My squats and bench presses are below average for someone of my weight (209lbs/94kg) so this video helps me realize that no one could just squat 250kg first try.

my classmate never hit the gym, we went gym after school with a group of friends. Just for fun. Believe me or not he deadlifted 140kgs without even trying ( his first deadlift ). He was 14 at the time LOL. At that age he weighted around 85kgs and height about 1.85.

My coach, former czechoslovakian lifter, who told me he was on all kinds of soviet "chemical support" weighting over 90kg clean 200kg at his peak and here is a teen weighting a bit less, cleaning the same weight, so... make of it what you want. Still super impressive though.

It was no doubt for training purposes. Especially when you start off as a tricker. It's a really important part of progressing, because the way you think you look while performing a trick is different from the real thing. To perfect your form, you need to know what you look like. He didn't want to stumble through getting form right, he made sure he was improving his form objectively by reviewing every training session.

I've been excercising for over 20 years. I'm 55 yrs old today and this kid is extremely in shape and a dedicated hardcore trainer.. Very impressive. I can still squat 500 pounds but his over the head lift is out of this world. I am a fan. Keep up ur insane feats and hopefully more will follow.
