Hi Clark, every morning, my two kelpies come to me after I wake up I asked them. Did they have a good sleep they tell me wawawa and I also asked them did they have a dream. They also answer my Wawa wawa but one good thing about it. They always happy to see me and doesn’t matter what time I wake up. They are all always excited to see me. I always look at dog and spell it backwards and it says God they give you unconditional love, even if you don’t deserve it. They still love you. Keep up the good work always enjoy the videos. Slim pickings on that one. Nice and green the country side. Trail cameras are pretty good at night, good quality pictures during the day. Your dog's are lovely as usual.

Another interesting vid mate , takes me back a few years when I worked with an old gamekeeper , he had a snare line out for foxes and I used to go round in the mornings with him , he seemed like he could spot a blade of grass moved , know what moved it and what it would do or where it would go next ..by Christ he was on top of the job ..Watching this reminds me of my days out with Fran Underwood , long gone but not forgotten ..

Thanks for another great video Clark. The way Mossy is with you reminds me of my first dog who'd try to share my wheelchair when I was a lightly built teenager. You can imagine how much fun that was when she hit 45+kg. I hope young Waylon is feeling better. Regards Mark from Redlands

Minnesota Rancher. Here in Minnesota we have the advantage of snow sometimes, to demonstrate exactly your point on animals walking in their same tracks. We use it to our advantage while trapping and snaring. I have also experienced on numerous occasions, hunting through a woods and coming across another hunters tracks. Even after purposely changing direction a bit, I find myself back on their track again in no time. Even stepping in their same prints. Great video! Keep it up!

Morning Clark!! Never ceases to amaze me how SMART those dingos are. Speaking of Mossie's "inherited genetic traits" and the "elusive old trap scratcher," you have to wonder if some of these dingos have that "trap awareness" built into their genetic code.. Quite the interesting "detective time" on the trap line.. Keep up the good work! Safe travels, friend ❤❤ Stay FROSTY... Keep your powder dry and your head on a swivel... 🇺🇲🇦🇺WWG1WGA🇺🇲🇦🇺NCSWIC🇺🇲🇦🇺

Clark, thank you for a great series of videos. As a coyote trapper in Eastern Connecticut USA I can appreciate your enthusiasm. I run Jake traps also do you find it necessary to continuously tighten the 3/8” pan bolt? I do. Enjoy and stay well.

@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry They have a sense of smell better than a Dog. A Dog has 871 Olfactory Genomes wheras your cow has 1071 a Human has 339. Maybe try a distractant by giving them something else to smell. But you cant fool them. Maybe email Dr Temple Grandin she is the expert of Cow behavior and may be able to suggest something. Being a real Scientist she will respond to you.

Clark, have you ever tried a dirt hole set in the bank?

The cattle cam footage was interesting, question.. Is the smell of your lure or the smell of you stopping them to investigate?
@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry27 күн бұрын
Both plus the smell from the dog we caught.

@@ClarkMcGhiesWildCountry experiment 1..(cattle).. In view of a trail cam beside a road, rub your hands thoroughly in the dirt in one spot, 5 meters away reach off the track with a scent lure rag. Observe if any difference. Experiment 2.. 2 new spots same distance, rub your hands with the dirt in both but this time in 1, add bicarb soda to some water in a pump pack spray bottle. The bicarb solo will change the pH of your body odour made up of various acids, the soda is alkeline. It may not eliminate your odour but it will weaken it..
