For even more perspective My Toyota Tundra has 381hp Nothing added, just 381hp stock. I remember when 500hp was “Off in the ether” It would cost me about $2000 maybe 2500 to get there with this truck. Imagine that TT spec’d out! Torque is 401lb-ft.

Because Ferrari 360 has a naturally aspirated v8 engine. While a Audi has a 2.5 liter engine i5 ad a big turbo and gose up to 400hp. Nothing special about it. Today you still get 400-450hp from a natural aspired 5L engine.

@@sukhdevr3489 So? If that audi TT did not have a turbocharger it would make 280hp. Please learn the difference between natural aspired engines and turbocharged. Has nothing to do with what type of a car it is. Turbocharging an engine is the easiest way to bump the hp and hp means nothing... Plus, that Audi is not fast it easly beaten by a 300hp Honda civic type r for example. That TT has a small displacement engine and by adding a turbocharger it adds pressure, which can lead to higher temps and engine knock, damaging the engine.

We don’t mind the scripts, as long as they’re funny and feel natural, which the majority of TGT doesn’t. (I do like this episode though)

The Trio is kinda like the Star Wars Trilogies i guess. I do not like the prequels much -which is Top Gear(Evans, Rory, LeBlanc) which sorta ran in the middle of old TG and TGT and was far removed from the stuff that you were used to. I like the new trilogy -the Grand Tour. But the old trilogy is best -obviously, old Top Gear. The purists only like the trio when they were on Top Gear. The generalists like them wherever (and/or like both TG & TGT). The nihilists only like Top Gear. The newbs only like the Grand Tour. The whiners only like the "not scripted" bits (and some scripted, _if_ it was funny) And the trolls only like the scripted bits and Top Gear, especially the Chris Evans days. I am a generalist, i like current TG, it's an obvious attempt to copy the magic, but it still works for me (as was the new SW trilogy), TGT is good, the boys are golden, sometimes they're funnier than other times. To be honest though, i thought this still felt pretty scripted, the only part that did feel genuine was Jeremy's annoyance at Richard, haha Anyway, that was a much longer comment than intended, have a nice day :P

Sounds like a........ V10, because it has a very similar pattern of POOFS coming out the tail pipe. Which is why motoring enthusiasts have emotional experiences to combustion engines, because in a lot of ways they mimic music with frequencies of sound coupled with a physical motion of power, etc.

The Audis that have come to South Africa have OPF delete it seems. I have a 2021 S5. It's insanely good for a V6 T. Did not expect to like it as much as I do over the M4 in fact.

OPF was only a thing in the TTRS from 2019 onwards, the 2018 and previous models had no such system and were louder

Yes All , my 2019 cars came with OPF and was considerably quieter than older cars. But 2021 S5 is as loud as the 2019 RS5 now.
