Rolled a hunter for my main in Classic. Love love love it! Your videos make it a breeze to crush solo farming and top the meters in dungeons. Can you make a video about the best place to farm in 30's, 40's and 50's for leveling. Then maybe a devilsaur leather farming guide if you know the best method

Since lupus dosnt do shadow dmg the best wolf u can tame is the slavering worg in sfk as it was the quickest attack speed of all the wolf's (1.2). Just tame the Wolf from lbrs to learn the skills then teach them to the sfk wolf.

Attack speed is normalised. Pets with faster attack speed do less damage per hit. It only provides a moderate advantage in PvP when attacking casters. So save yourself multiple Hours and just take the lbrs worg.

pet up time is fine if you use some common sense and spec it right. I use the full BM + MM (31/20) build suggested by cadet of APES. Yet to come across an equal geared hunter who out damages me in raids. Pets do extremely well at this stage in game. Come t2, things switch around a bit as the pets just don't scale but in current state of game BM is superior if you play it right (just manage your pet) granted, you aren't really buffing the raid with this build but for my raid setup its no issue atm.

I dont know if u still need it but you can right click the ability so it autocast in combat but it cost to much energy so if your pet is atacking with bite or claw it wont cast exept at the begining. You will need to turn off the defalt attack ability and turn it again when your pet cast growl.

It applies to all hunters attacking NPCs, keep in mind dwarf hit cap is 6% so you won't need surefooted, ideally

You may have found it by now but if not, check out 'Weapon swing timer'. You can enable the hunter version in the settings to show you a cast time as well as the normal auto shot timer.

Will they allow feign death to bring you out of combat? Still no way to trap people or use our CC well except when out of combat. Major fix that blizz needs to make in order to make hunter viable in PVP

There's a known bug with it not dropping combat fast enough. There is a macro in the meantime that casts feign death, sets pet to passive and drops a trap all at the same time which works fine!

rich10811 maybe it's a lack of training points? Assuming you just tamed a monster it probably has like -20 points to spend. Also, mobs can only learn 4x abilities--probably want to ditch cower.

No, overall if 100% uptime cat is still best even with furious howl since its buggy as hell. When you have crap pet uptime on a boss then wolfs better. When ZGs out; wind serpent is better then a wolf at range and close to a cat. Thats only with max rank lightning breath.

Just started playing, have leveled a few toons to ten to see what I enjoy. As of now stuck between mage and hunter. For a beginner wow player, which of those two do you recommend for quality of end game both pve and pvp. Or possibly an ele shaman? Thanks

Hunter. You'll feel more interested and invested. Mage is good and all but they only cast one thing.

Either honestly both are high movement kiting classes. Mage is great for lvling as frost bolt snares, nova roots and you get talents to make you a big hitter. Combine that with teleport to cities (set gadgetzan hearth) and food and water its a great all rounder and solo. Hunter is great, you can fd to get out of shitty situations and raid wipes, your pet completely steam rolls when lvling and its the fastest besides mage aoe grinding. Far as pvp goes hunter and mage are both s tier but hunter is generally better and strong against mages. Personally I prefer hunter however mages now days are meta for spellcleaves and ofc healers love free drinks and their dps will be higher after bwl

This is the first time I've played classic wow and I've been having lots of fun. I've been finding that aim shot builds up too much aggo on me when I use it in my rotation. I used it first in the rotation and the mob I'd be attcaking would start charging me as soon as it hits. I was thinking of maybe using a distraction shot to put the aggo back on my pet does anyone have any experience with this?

Distraction shot will get aggro (for example to get the mob off the healer). Disengage melee ability is what you could use to get less aggro once he is in melee range
