I quite sincerely loathe relationship and life coaching videos. At it's core - and I think Clay knows this - there are absolutely no rules in the arena of love, and there's no blueprint or manual. That said, I also quite sincerely respect Clay and this channel. This is someone who actually cares. I distinctly get the impression that this isn't just some money-making venture - though naturally that's necessary to a degree to sustain the business - but it's like watching a musician playing their instrument with passion. Clay actually means this stuff. It's very challenging because I'd love to subscribe, but I also don't want the videos in my recommendations and subscriptions box, because it's a painful reminder of my situation. That said, I always like the videos to help out where I can. I have a tremendous respect for this total stranger in the blue shirt on my laptop screen.

After my ex said she needed closure she accused me of stalking her because she said I seemed distant and I just told her I'm giving you your space and closure. She also said she seen a vehicle like mine driving around her block so that was the reason for all this.

His life is worse now since he left me. I tried no contact but 2 weeks in he messaged me and he started venting about how life sucks. My life has been significantly better since the breakup because I decided to start doing the work I needed to immediately. I actually feel like I have the power back now. Part of the issues that broke us apart though was that I wasn't being a present enough partner. But boundaries was also an issue for us. So I'm not sure if I should let him vent to me or not. I dont want to be the emotional support ex. I am not reaching out to him now but whenever we talk, it's the same thing. His life sucks and mine is getting exponentially better. I think maybe ill go back into no contact while I figure out what to do. And if he reaches out, I'll be more vague. I still love him. And it hurts seeing him so down and just drifting through life right now. He supported me through things I was going through during the relationship. But we aren't in a relationship now. I feel torn on whether to indulge his venting to me or not. Our convo the other night really brought my energy down significantly.

Yeah my ex told me that she should’ve fought harder for us and our marriage because now she’s in a rebound relationship with another married man, her oldest son left the house and don’t respect her at all (he’s 13 btw), and her family thinks she’s dumb. Soooo yeah I’m sure there’s a part of her that regrets leaving me.

"terrible mistake"? I don´t think our exes made a mistake, It is called free will. I would not call it "terrible" After 3 years of no contact with my ex I realized, she was right. We are different people with different ways. I wanted to settle down, she wanted to work on other things and that is ok. I have finally move on, I dont want her back, I just want her to be happy, so I can be happy with myself and then share my completeness with another girl. Guys, do not try to find a "reason" dont try to find what is on the mind of your ex, just live your life as happy as you can. Time does not forgive

Hey clay, I did make a few mistakes like i begged and pleaded when she lost interest. I was a bit mean towards the end. But we were very romantic I loved her a lot and she used to tell me all the time. It felt so real. She left and i emailed texted called etc. She found a new guy in college after a month. Shes been a rebound i knoww this as ive seen all the signs. Showing off and acting so happy, but now its been a year and she seems so depressed. I get a few no caller id calls not a lot but a few. She also spied on me thru our mutual snapchat account and viewed my story. I purpossly posted a random pic of a girl and me and next thing u know she has me blocked and she started posting depressing things and went inactive. After 3 weeks shes still w him even tho it affected her that she seen me moving on and dating. And I also have been in a 9-10 month NC. I can tell its affecting her but shes still got ego and vicitim mentality

I don't think it has anything to do with autism. I don't have it and I don't like being rejected either. Actually, from my experience, it's the people WITH autism that is pickier and less loving than a normal person! This is both after experienceing an ex-friend of mine (guy who friend-zoned me for many years and now won't talk to me and actually GHOSTED me), to a recent ex of mine who actually broke things off because of various reasons that's too weird to discuss here, but I feel like one of them was that he probably wanted someone alot younger than him and he wanted someone perfect probably. Also, I feel it has more to do with your past experiences as well as how you think of yourself (self-esteem/self-worth).

Hey Clay, I’m so lost at this point. My ex and I were together for almost 2 years. She broke up with me because she said she loss interest and wanted to focus on herself. We still were sleeping together and taking trips to different states for months and was trying to get back together. Till a month ago, she started to act different and I began to question her and she would always lie to me about things. Over time I guess the lies were eating at her so she called me emotional one day and said that she been talking and seeing someone. I began to beg and plead to her that she was making a mistake and that I working on myself so that way me and her can get back together. She didn’t want to hear what I had to say. She told me that she told her new man that she always wants me in her life and still loves and care about me. Something that really bothered me the other day was when I found out that she went to Vegas with the new guy and that the new guy got two young kids. I know my ex and she is the type of people that gets anxiety when she is around kids and gets nervous. I know I shouldn’t be worried about any of this but this is a woman that I love and care about even if we not together and I just don’t want her getting hurt or hurting herself because she has confidence issues and don’t believe that she is worth anything.

Never ever be friends with an ex when you’re heart isn’t in that form of relationship. Women are hypergamous in nature and obviously your ex lost the emotional attachment to you because you became a simp. Personally, if a woman decides to leave; she gone in my life. Doesn’t matter if she comes back crawling. The only exception to the rule is if you have a child with her.

My ex asked me about my move wanting to know if she made the right choice talking about how she doesnt think her new man is right for her, but not sure if i am as well. I went to no contact because i needed to focus on myself and heal before talking to her again as i was in damage control for a long time and made a lot of mistakes. We got in an argument and he never came back it's almost eight months I have tried doing no contact for 2 months that didn't do anything I've done it two times he still didn't respond but yes at the very beginning I did beg and plead because the argument was my fault basically I don't know what to do I don't know what this time with it almost being 8 months if I should give up or what it's sad because I really love him and stupid argument for nothing only thing keeping me holding on is he keeps my pictures of me kissing him on his page and he hasn't posted since but I know he's okay because I see him active on social media
