Ugh, Clay!! This came at the perfect time. I was sobbing. 6 months in. Some progress, but he isn't initiating contact. Emotional turmoil, scared he's over me. But you're right, I want him to be over me. It's a good thing, because the new and improved me can most definitely attract him back. I really hope we can start something new. He truly is the love of my life. I will miss the old relationship so much... We were so young and foolish. I hope we can develop more respect and openness with one another in the future.

Nice video! Very informative! You and your big ex broke up for legitimate reasons, but even if break up for non-legitimate reasons, i.e. we are still compatible and break up, when we are over them we don't attach any emotions to the break up, we just view the break up as plain facts. And yes, I am over him after crying a bucket of tears! I am not saying it's going to be the same for everyone, but getting completely over someone is a very difficult process, as the emotions are very deep rooted!

I damn for sure know my ex isn't free of resentment over me. The few times we've spoken Clay back in the summer time, i remember vividly being told "i'm getting over you" ..then minutes later " i'm over you" and this is the last time we'll text back in April. Haven't heard anything since June or so when we last spoke, yet i'm sure she might've started dating quickly after all this resentment. I know her very well after 3 years and to know pet names were still used well after the break up, the feelings are still there. Only if there was a way for her to just respond to me...even though she still has some of my things lol...what makes the situation worse is that she did all this because someone sabotaged our relationship with old texts messages prior to even meeting her and dating. smh.

Well my ex keeps on checking my insta stories and said my friend that he comes by my house out of habit and he asked my friends to let him know about me...he is dating someone else and she makes him feel special but he says that they are not in a serious relationship. I was in NC for about 1.5month but I broke it to wish him a happy birthday but it went horrible and he is annoyed at me. I am confused and I do want him back but I also want to make myself better. Currently my "ex" is talking to a guy that she is obsessed with but he doesn't seem to care because he knows that she started talking to him while her and I were still together. She usually treats me harshly over text or phone but when we see each other (because we have a daughter) she will warm up to me but still tries to hold herself away from me emotionally and physically. But from my experience in your situation you don’t want to be smothering her with too much attention all the time. Give her plenty of space. Especially not talking about the breakup itself. Or anything emotional at all really. It does the opposite of what your intending to achieve, and repels her even more. Makes them even more stubborn and on the defensive. It’s a tough situation because your instincts tell you to do that!

She's just mad and maybe she has negative feelings from break up. So just back off don't try to do anything. All of these negative emotions will fade soon. But now she can't think clearly and trying to be around her will make things worse. Just focus on ur life and try to improve yourself and show her that you are improving. Now if u want her back you should re- attract her again, show her the new improved you and make her fall in love with you again. He hasn't seen the rebound in weeks, admitted that she was basically there because he wanted someone to talk to. It's over for them. And he realized he wanted me back. my ex dumped me by text during lockdown. Then sent abusive txts. Then phoned n said he regretted fallin out wi me & was so sorry fr wot he said. Next he's tellin me i shud hav a 1 nyt stand coz he did. Then goes off grid. Then fones 2 say it didnt work coz she wasnt me. Then txts sayin he feels nothin but indifference toward me. His head is not right, as he's all over the place. I would suggest moving forward with healing and self improvement. It's not easy because you are also dealing with strong emotions as well. You both need time apart with no/minimal contact so you can gain clarity and make better decisions.

@@reginaldsmith6949 yes, iv bn doin a lot of research into his behaviours, I think he's a borderline covert narcissist case. Iv also bn doin a lot of self love & healing kinda stuff. We'v had minimal contact fr 6,7 mths now. I just don't no wot to say for the best if he fones on my b'day. S'pose I'll play it by ear & screw it up as usual in some way. My last relationship was 18yrs - b4 our 2yrs tht is, so I know how to hav a 'normal' partnership, but this guy was an old friend so I thot it would help but it seems not.
