Seeing Andy do it gives me confidence that I can do it too. What steps are different 26:03 between a maintenance clean and a deep clean. Do I need extractor or steamer for a true deep clean ?
@PanTheOrganizer3 ай бұрын
A deep clean is something like this video where you are taking your time and addressing every surface. An extractor or a steam cleaner can help if you have really disgusting carpets and upholstery, but not necessary. A maintenance clean is what the name states: just a quick go around the vehicle to gently clean and replenish the protection on the surfaces, using things like a quick interior detail spray. A maintenance cleaning for interiors is done once every 3 to 4 weeks, and is quickly done, just to maintain the work you did during the deep clean. Here's an example of a maintenance cleaning I did on my Porsche: kzbin.info/www/bejne/baO2omqGa8SSpbMsi=ERdRzt8wjnoQ_3OL And another one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2KcdIB6irR1kK8si=6FLbGiurMev_td2M And one of my BMW M550i: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ioeUkKSahKisY9ksi=QT3aHkB0DiXi7aHF

CRAZY cool that you featured your brother detailing his own car!!! The closeness of your comradery with him comes through too! Question...I'm tackling my first disaster detail on a '97 Impala SS, dealing with old mice nests behind the back seat. To handle it, I've geared up with hazmat suits, masks, and special cleaning chemicals, and I've rented an industrial extractor for a thorough clean. Additionally, the owner has asked me to detail the engine bay. What would you recommend as a fair rate for a job like this? While I'm not a professional detailer, I do enjoy cleaning cars and this is one is a doozie! Please advise.
@PanTheOrganizer3 ай бұрын
Hard to say as I don't offer à la carte single item things to customers. I only offer one big package now, the total interior/exterior new car prep, as you see in all my full car detailing videos. Also, I never discuss prices on KZbin anyways, as there are way too many factors that influence price, including location. An engine bay detail in Montreal won't cost the same in New York, Paris or Tokyo for example. Even in the same neighbourhood there can be price differences some times. Your best bet is to see what detailers near you price those services at. ;)

Question for you Pan or anyone here that can answer. My truck has cloth seats and about a year ago i spilled pork grease on my seat and it saturated the cloth and foam seat. I took the whole seat and cleaned it thoroughly with water and dawn dish soap and let it dry in the sun. I feel like my truck still smells weird. Is there any product out there that I can use or should I just replace the foam and cloth?

You might have to use a carpet cleaning system followed by an extractor. See my videos below: Carpet cleaning system: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnaTXoWiqZ6qkJosi=H8XyH8Lp9g0LVpku Extractor: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYKyXpqVf7KJY6ssi=P5XdpWgrNcv7C2C-

Would like to try the lithium cube on the leather seats.

You sure can, just test on an inconspicuous area first. And this would be for more severe cases of dirt, grime and body oil accumulation. Not for regular maintenance.

My car’s interior is cleaned twice per week. A spray bottle with rinse less wash, scrub pad, and ADS Pilot does the trick. Bio Bomb Fresh AF keeps odors away.

I put all the links in the video description like in all my videos. But here's the vacuum just for you: amzn.to/3SccDZQ

@@PanTheOrganizer Oh, thanks! I thought I may have seen a Wall Mounted vac in your garage but I see I am mistaken. Thanks for your reply!
