Thank you for your videos. At 73 years old I FINALLY found someone who I can relate to. I’ve also been a messy person and felt really bad about it my whole life. I lost my husband of 50 years 3 years ago and things have gotten even worse due to depression. I’m moving into a new place (first time on my own) and I am determined to keep this place uncluttered and clean. I understand that it will be a hard task for me, but I’m definitely eager to do it. You have been so inspiring and I love your honesty. Thank you

I can so relate. My husband had 2 strokes 3 years ago. He survived and I am his only caretaker. Everything he used to do he can no longer do and it’s all on me. I am 78 and work like I never did. I am overwhelmed but I do what I can. People say mean things and it’s heartbreaking but they don’t know what it’s like. Please people be kind. Love to all facing difficult times. You never know when bad things will happen

Bonnie, I relate so much to your story, since my husband passed my untidiness has become much worse. I’m moving as well. I’m only taking what I need, I’m taking things I use, not things I may use. I’m planning on keeping it simple, no clutter less is best so they say 🤷‍♀️ That way I may find it much easier to clean. I love Remi, she is who she, Remi is so honest.

Your voice is comforting. You also are a real person, with real life issues. It is comforting to know there is someone out there going through the mental struggles I go through. I don't have kids in the house anymore, but even without them here, it is about me getting motivated to do the house work. Thank you for helping me look at life a bit differently and motivating me. Don't pay those haters any mind. You are such an amazing lady.

I can tell you aren’t messing your place up just to make content, I can tell because I’ve seen that same mess grow organically at my house. I just discovered you today and I’m binge watching. I feel like you are describing me when you talk about your struggles with clean and tidy. Thank you for making these videos.

Exactly the same thoughts here! So yes, the people whom you are doing it for, they know it's real, because they've seen it 'organically grow' into it.

I have been watching your videos since I ran across you, I think 4 days ago..thing is, I LOVE your chats because for your relative youth, you display a vast amount of wisdom, you have a soothing voice and although I know nothing of you, your patience and compassion comes through in your voice over..and in the last four days because of the video where you make the list as you go, I’ve taken that list onboard and oh the difference to me! I went through the house just picking up cloths and getting them washed and managed the first three items on that list, at the end of the day the improvement to my home was massive! The second day I did the bins and hoovered and the house became manageable because for me then all that was left was the specifics; cleaning fixtures and wiping down cabinets..four days on my house has stayed clean and I’ve been able to focus on arranging the pantry.. My gratitude for you and your video content is SO much more than words could express.. Thank you!

Hello there! As a wife to a husband with ADHD and 2 kids having the same, I can tell you that you are not alone. I live in a neuroatypical bubble and lots of my friends are talking about the same issues you experienced. People who think you mess things up on purpose can't imagine how distracted someone can really become, and that what you show could possibly be real! I live with 3 messy people and can swear our house looks the same as yours often, and I can't tidy up all the time. Being messy doesn't make you a failure and people with this mindset need to get their priorities straight. You overcame executive dysfunction and tiredness today to get things done, and I am proud of you for putting in the effort!!! Greetings from Luxembourg 🇱🇺

You have no idea how much I needed to watch this today. My baby hasn't stopped crying all day except when she crashed put for an hour this morning and I took the chance for a sleep whilst my other 3 were at school. The house is a huge mess. My stairs look just like yours too. Managed to get the washing up done and I already feel so much better for it so I completely relate to how your mood changed. Your the most relatable youtuber I've come across because your so real and honest and it honestly nearly made me cry today because I felt understood, all be it by someone who doesn't know me. Thank you so much. And ignore the haters, why bother hating on someone, just watch a different video and move on.

Balance helper: Have your kids help you . Your older boy can help you. I was a single mom of 4 and worked full time. They all had chores to do on the weekend (By Thursday our house was trashed!). When they were young they had chores like putting silverware away, cleaning appliance doors (fridge, microwave etc) pick up garbage, wipe off tables and toys away, help set table. My kids are adults now and laugh about the "chorelist". They all keep nice neat homes. Give yourself the gift of help and give your kids the gift of learning how to help. Have a fabulous day and thank you for your transparency!

But watching you has helped me get moving and thinking about my home. Took me 3 days just reorganize my kitchen, got a donation box made from the kitchen. Then today it took me all day just cleaning my livingroom. Had planned to shampoo the carpet. But was to chilly and damp to do it today. And got another donation box made up. Shredded a lot of paperwork that needed to be done.

I am a messy person too - thanks for setting yourself out here for others to be encouraged not to give up. I do training and I do cover the difference between messy people and neat people - we do not understand each other. Those that accuse you of doing this deliberately is obviously neat people and have never faced a messy person challenges. Be encouraged that you are helping others and your monologue helps us understand what is running through your mind - to few people actually are aware of their inner voice until the wheels come off.

I'm a mom of 3. I had 3 kids by the time I was 23. I am early 40s now. Its can be so hard to juggle everything. My suggestion to people is always remember whenever you say yes to one thing you say no to something else. An example might be if you say yes to cleaning house you will be saying no to playing a card game with children. If no to cleaning house you may be saying yes to mental breakdowns. Gauge where you are at and choose the yes and no wisely depending on the day's situation. God does not call us to worry about tomorrow nor does he want us heaped with guilt from yesterday. He wants us living in the moment and giving it our best. It's ok to plan for the future but we must flexible for the moment we are in. I love your channel. Be blessed!❤

I actually like cleaning the kitchen. Seems like it and the bathroom are the only rooms I don’t struggle to clean. I think it’s because I know exactly what needs put up, and what stays out. And the actual cleaning and scrubbing part has always been easy and fun for me! And I’m one of your people! My house can get totally destroyed so easily. My mom says it’s because I’ve got too much ‘stuff’ and that’s probably right, but I’m not a hoarder, so oh, well! I also love my plants, so I have a lot of them and plant supplies in the house. Thank god plants never clutter, but the supplies, eh they do.

I love your chatty videos 🥰 you are amazing. Being an adult is definitely extremely hard. Getting a balance is so hard. I was so happy to find one of your videos that I haven’t seen before. Perfect motivation while my kids are at their dads xx

I can't believe someone complained that you talk too much! I love listening to you; it really is like listening to a friend vent & chat. Please, keep up the conversations :-)

100% get how a house can get so messy in so little time. There is never a day when every single room in my house is clean at the same time. I can get half of the house clean and the other half is still messy. And I just have to alternate which half is clean. And that’s as good as it gets. ❤

You are talking is just fine. It adds to the video as it tells us what you’re thinking, how you are feeling, and helps us to relate to what you’re going through. We might be going through the same thing in our own lives. Right now, after two back surgeries and a third one coming up soon, my husband of 40 years is trying to learn how to clean the house. He has never done it and it is driving me crazy. I am OCD, so it is either my way or don’t do it at all. that poor man is doing his best.

Sounds like you're a great mother, full of concern when needed. Maybe the Lord was giving you a little grace by letting the smallest one sleep. God bless you all! Though I'm much older than you I have the same struggles with my home. You inspire me to get it done!

I love your videos. I only found you 2 days ago and I'm binge watching. You're so relatable. My house looks like you're house! And you motivated me to get moving! And when you just said when you was off school poorly you had tomato soup and a crisp sandwich snd watched the sound of music... so did I, with my nan! Exactly the same! 🥲

How ridiculous that you would mess up your house to make videos! I raised 6 children and know how quickly a house can get messed up. Its very satisfying to see your home come together. I love your talk overs . You say so many things that resonate with me. Keep up the good fight. Your awesome! ❤

I love listening to you talk, it's like we're sitting together having a cup of tea & then doing some work on our houses together. As for people who think you create a mess to tidy up - well, I think they've lived very sheltered lives if they think none of us have messy houses! They've certainly never been to my house. And deciding that they can judge others for having different lives from their own is just sad.

You are amazing! Your video's really help me to pick myself up and do what I need to do. Sometimes I hate it and you know, I sometimes just don't know were to put things. My daughter is the same, so I shared your channel with her. Maybe it also helps her. It helps to know that there is someone out there who really understands the guilt you feel because you don't seem to be able to do what others find a normal daily task. There will always be people who don't understand. It took me for ever to understand me myself. It is you who made me feel less hard on myself. That only happend about two month ago, and I'm 63. So, for the coming years..thank you for bringing light to me and my house❤

I’m in love with you Remi!! Thank you thank you thank you for all your videos! I’m 46 and never thought people like me existed I thought I was alone in my messy misery. I’m not diagnosed with anything but I suspect something makes me different. No one in my friends or family understands my mess , so thank you for making me feel like I’m not alone 😊

I've just found your channel recently & i feel like I've found another me. Your difficulties are so similar to mine. I can relate on every level. My house is often like a bomb has hit it & people criticize me for how long it takes me to clean up. I've now learnt there is a difference between tidying & organizing & one takes a lot longer for me than the other! I'm from South Africa & love your accent & absolutely love your chattiness...it's just so comforting. Keep doing you & try not to let the haters get into your head. You're awesome ❤
