Cleaning the Lint Filter & Heat Exchanger | Samsung US

The dryer functions of the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo cycle air through a heat exchanger and lint filter. Some simple maintenance of these parts will keep your laundry running at its best.
Be sure to clean the lint filter after each dry cycle. Open the lint filter cover and pull it out. Open the outer filter so that you can gently remove any visible lint. You can then remove the inner filter and clear lint from it as well.
For more thorough cleaning, you can wash the filters in running water. Be sure to completely dry the filters in an area shaded from direct sunlight.
Once it is clean, replace the inner filter into the outer filter and insert the assembled filter back into place.
Every 180 dry cycles, an alert message will remind you to clean the heat exchanger.
To clean it, open the lint filter cover and pull out the lint filter. Clean the heat exchanger using an appliance brush, gently to avoid damage to the fins. If the heat exchanger is too dry to clean easily, spray some water into it before using the appliance brush. Remove any other loose debris using a vacuum with a crevice tool attachment. Finally, wipe down the outer area with a damp cloth.
Just put everything back together and your Laundry Combo will be drying like new!
