It has screws and clips... Just take it apart. Takes less that 10 minutes to disassemble, clean, and reassemble... And it will still work unlike after you short it out by spraying liquids at it.

Last few times I cleaned, I used a bristle sipping straw cleaning brush. Longer handles made the job of cleaning my portable fans much easier.

I just put the brush attachment on my vacuum and vacuum it clean as long as it not used in the kitchen with cooking grease around it. Then unscrew the covers and clean them in the sink with degreaser. Your way sounds like a real pain.

Some have said that they want to try this first, yes there won’t be a second try because water will not only get into the motor but also the socket itself and then you’ll most definitely hear a bang ‼️ and blow the fuse in the junction box. My advice is to take it down and wash the cage and fan blades in the shower 🚿. 😢

Yes it will work. I wash my fans every time. I spray it down with cleaner, then set it in my sink and spray it w hot water all over. Just don't turn it on till totally dry. Doing this for years.

That’s exactly what I just wrote because that’s what I do. Put my fans in the shower take them off put them in the shower, clean them and dry them with the towel . Dont 😊spray your fans like she is doing you can blow a fuse and that’s gonna cost a lot more money so just be careful how you guys clean your fans people

Well the way that bubble head is doing causing ppl to go to either hospital due to electric shock or have no home to live in so I wouldn't do either of those just take your fan apart instead take the cage off and clean it and fan as well and then put it back together after its all dried..

Absolutely NOT!!! Don’t ever spray water on electric devices!!! The cage can be easily removed- or simply can be dusted with stiffer or a cloth, feather duster, and a wipe or very slightly damp cloth can do the rest. Or if tag cage is removed- the plastic can be washed, air dried and put back onto the fan. NEVER WATER ELECTRONICS! Also can be vacuum cleaned with the brush attachment, when it’s ( the fan) unplugged .

I haven't never clean my fans like this. I just cleaned them off with soap and water!! And never plugged them up to dry!! And my fans was really clean!! It's a easy step. Take a part and soap and water!!! Let it dry over night!! Eazyer said then done!! Thumbs up to me 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Unscrew your fan and wash it the correct way. The motor never goes in water nor do you spray water on it. Wipe motor area with slightly damp microfiber cloth. Everything else can go in the sink to wash it.

Most fans can be taken apart, either screws or claps. Through the plastic parts or metal in the dishwasher or soak in the sick. Not the motor part blow that with air can. Air dry and put back together.
