Thank you so much for all these great videos you’ve uploaded over the years. Now I only keep white vinegar, dish soap and baking soda to clean my house and it’s more than enough. For the smell of the vinegar I just "infuse" it with apple or orange peels, so inexpensive but a real game-changer.

I have found that our modern dishwasher and washing machine warranty states that vingar can break down the rubber seals in the machine and will void the warranty if it breaks. I've seen a lot of people mention this in comments but not in the videos. I've also noticed it damaging the finish on our wooden dining table so I've stopped using it there. I suspect it's got a coating on it to protect it. I don't use it on our wood flooring or any treated surface. I really love using vinegar but I feel the warnings need to be more thorough. Hope this helps some people. Check before you use this.

Good, helpful tips. Vinegar is actually a very strong acid, so it will eventually eat away natural materials. The classic way to strip a cast iron pan for reseasoning is to soak it for only 30 minutes in a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. But it's not recommended to go beyond 30 minutes because it will actually eat away and destroy the underlying iron ore. If it's strong enough to eat iron, then it will definitely destroy wood, rubber, and other materials. Use with caution.

Just wondering if the washing machine is a front loader. I add 1/2-1 cup of vinegar in the fabric softener slot per load in my top loader and haven't seen any signs of seal issues as of yet. But I wouldn't know if the seals underneath the machine are deteriorating or not. I would think that the amount of vinegar I add is too diluted to harm them. What I have noticed is that is that the vinegar helps de-lint the clothes & towels makes them fresh smelling, and non-static after drying. Plus my washer never smells funky.

1 other useful tip for a sore throat, half a cup of warm to hot water( as hot as you can handle for gargling😀)then add 1 tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar or white spirit vinegar and 1 teaspoon of salt or pink salt to this water, stir and gargle, it works miracles for sore throats, do this preferably after eating and minimum of twice a day, very sore throat, 3 times a day after eating😁

My number one use is pouring a little in the bottom of the glass tea kettle to get rid of weird mineral deposits and hard water. Works so well, you don't need to add anything else, just enough vinegar to cover the bottom. 15 mins soak, dump, rinse.

When you are using vinegar as a weed killer for vining weeds, you can fill a little tub (empty sour cream or take out containers work well) and poke a hole in the top and feed a vine into the hole. The vine will take up the vinegar and kill the plant - works really well for invasive morning glory!

When I worked in produce packing the items were washed then sealed with a very light food grade wax for shipping preservation. There was no pesticide in the wax used. Many buyers asked for items to be left with blush, or bloom on, which meant no washing, no wax.

the pesticides happen almost guaranteed at the farm, in place, unless organic, and even they have approved pesticides to spray and sometimes systemic in the ground so it goes through the whole food ... serious issue, worked at 2 organic farms and know this for sure.

Your videos are great! I have one question. A cleaner recently told me that the mops where you use disposable or washable pads are no good because they just push the dirt around, and she prefers a mop that has (washable) microfiber strips, for tile floors. Which mop type do you like best, if you could have only one? Thanks!

I use a microfiber (Velida) mop! I used to sell microfiber mops and they are great. The problem with chemicals on the floor is if you have pets/kids it gets on there hands or Paws! Vinegar and water and a microfiber mop is best! Wash the pad after each use!

Also if you have clogged drain in kitchen sinks you can pour baking soda and vinegar let set for about 20 min. and the flush with boiling hot water guaranteed to unclog drains.
