@14:00 hearing Cameron and Danny talking about being their own critic did my heart good. That was something m 'ol Dad told me (he was a bricklayer, I was a concrete finisher),, "Son, you're the pro here,, YOU KNOW what's right. At the end of the day, when you go home YOU NEED to know you sold the customer the very best work you can do knowing you can always get better. Try new things and see if there's something you can do better."

I think if someone has a career of 30+ years of building cars, and those are PROMOD cars? I'm just going to say they are doing it correctly. I did maching for a few years out of high school, and I was amazed that one of our mill guys could look at a bolt and tell me the thread... or how they could listen to a machine run and tell me about tool wear. Just some things time teaches folks that can't be taught. You guys are awesome!

I'm a bridge guy at work, and one thing we do to strengthen the tension zones of concrete strectures (beams and columns) is we epoxy carbon fiber to the concrete. Wonder if something like that could be done to high tension areas of these cages without adding a bunch of weight. Like wrapping the tubes with carbon fiber. You could do a simple bend test, one bare tube of steel and one with carbon fiber and see if it can take more pressure.

What about a cantilever shutoff switch in the cabin? That would allow you to manipulate the length of throw/pull on the handle more. Switch the cable mount to the other side of the pivot point and you could easily lengthen where the cable mounts, giving you a shorter throw for the driver🤷🏼♂️

I am just going to go out on a limb and say that I am thinking he is doing Pro Charger possibly dual chargers. The reason is he has done the TT deal and with this build he's doing a lot of first times for him. The second reason I think this is if the other car you are working on is a nitrous car but also a '69 the front end of Cleets chassis has trusses and looking at other photos of pro charged cars in your webpage cover, those have trusses, and they end right about where the fuel cell is on his car. That and it may just be perspective, but Cleets car looks a little longer in the front than the other '69 it is definitely beefed up more than the other car when they were at the same or close to stage of the chassis build. Not to mention he said during the motor build he didn't plan on hitting high rpm. I could be wrong; he could be doing compound turbos for all I know. Just my guess. What's the chances I could get one of those sweet shirts at a discount if I am right. Seeing if he really reads all his comments. 😏 Either way you guys are killing it.

Imma say right now I think Cleetus is going with a big blower like Justin Swanson in NPK racing. MOST of the Hemi’s seem to run blowers and MOST of the 481X are turbo or pro chargers. Just my guess. I really wish he would make this car easy to swap over to big tire so he could try big tire out once in a while and really get that traction to try to run in the fives and It could also open them up to some possibilities of getting into something like NPK. He has a pretty darn big and could definitely gain more fans by putting them out there in something like NPK following.
