I remember making a comment about people being nostalgia blinded and i pointed out the flaws in chapter 1 and i got attacked and all people could say was "your 5 shut up" "new gen" and "you don't understand why chapter 1 is great and you need to shut up" instead of coming up with actual points to counter my argument it goes to show if you are somewhat smart you can win any debate if it's against the fortnite community.

personally, I LOVED S7 and SX, It was the most fun I’ve ever had in Fortnite, and that’s been my opinion for 6-7 years. But people tend to forget, Fortnite literally started to refuse to release patch notes in C1 due to the hate they use to get every update.

Man 😂😂 the relation in this vid couldnt be any closer, theres always that small group of people that actually are consistent with their word for each Chapter/Season. Literally boight STW for myself so I can stay away from all of the BR bs, I’ve only been play STW since 2020 and I haven’t had a problem with it every I still play it more to this fay then BR and never talk bad ir say anything terrible about it because there isn’t anything to say! IIRC, the "Fortnite is dying" started towards the end of Chapter 1 Season 4. Ever since then, every controversial update and season has been met with "Fortnite is dying". OG Fortnite is great, but it hasn't saved Fortnite. Fortnite is doing good and has been doing good.

My only real complaint about Fortnite is, I can't go to my local store and buy Slurp or Slap. Blue Gatorade and Sunny D is as close as I can get, and I can't help but think, "Epic could make this taste better."

even the youtubers do the same thing if u see the reaction of the travis scott event everyone was hoping that the event will bring us back to chp1 map and were yelling "bring back the og map" and when it didnt they were disappointed and all of the sudden everyone is saying chp2 s2 is the best season even sypher pk's had a video about the best season ever and the best season was chp2s2 even when he was the one to yell bring back the og map in the travis scott event

Well, you were right about the bots, they finally added them and yes, the authentic OG experience You can have fun with the OG, how much fun one have is subjective, but that doesn't mean that Ch1 was really as perfect as everyone says, and MUCH less better than Ch6 or the most recent one. Which leads to the problem I've seen a lot, which is that it seems like you can't criticize Chapter 1 or say anything bad about it because otherwise they come out with things like "Oh you just hate fun" or things like that, I mean... no... you also criticized ch1 to death at its moment, but now it's you can't criticize it because now the old Fortnite is better, what the fuck? That's the problem I have with this community in how they see nostalgia and what bothers me the most is how Epic will squeeze it knowing that they will continue to fall for it.

I liked Chapter 5. It was a mess, but I had plenty of fun. So far, Chapter 6 isn't that different. The graphics and gameplay are very much an evolution of Chapter 5's gameplay and graphics, with some improvements. I like Chapter 6 so far, but the Chapter 6 glazing has been crazy.

i never liked the early seasons of chapter 1 and its for the same reason everyone is hating on og rn (nor did i think the early seasons were actually BAD buuuuut flawed). it starts getting truly good around season 6 (besides season 4 kinda being the first ever actually good season)

I love season 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 despite the mechs I started playing late season 5 so idk if I can have a reasonable opinion on it but I can say with great consistency chapter 1 6-10 was so slow and boring as the seasons progressed (besides season 7 and season 9 loved those seasons to death) I also just prefer chapter 2 as a whole

Nostalgia aside, chapter 1 is still the best chapter ive played, most if not all of the newer chapters were only playable because of a certain aspect, or season . Like chapter three for spider man or something

Ik this is a bit unrelated but on the topic of people being nostalgic for things they use to hate, I have a feeling that people will start looking back at chapter 5 fondly (it’s actually already happening with C5S1) like all the other chapters Expect for wrecked, every chapter has that one season where no one really misses it (chapter 1 had season X, chapter 2 had primal, chapter 3 had paradise, and chapter 4 had wilds) and I think wrecked will be chapter 5s
