Thank you! This was my first workout with my new Clench Fitness set. I travel more than half the month and with all of the COVID restrictions on hotel gyms I’ve been using resistance bands in my room. I love the Clench set with handles so much. It’s so versatile!! I really appreciate these follow along videos. They are informative on how to set up the equipment, challenging and always more fun to work out with someone else👍 keep ‘em coming!

Love the chest press while on the floor. I’d never thought to double up the band. Thanks.

This is perfect- I’m staying at a hotel for a work trip for a couple days and I was stressed about being away from my usual weight routine but I’ll be able to get a good one in with the bands. I love the clench handles!! 💪🏼 Solid instruction and performance points too thanks Clench!

I would have done exercises like Chest press and Rows/Pulldowns before some of the iso movements, but I’m an old warhorse. You showed all the key moves to make on the road where just keeping the train rolling is the most important thing
@ClenchFitness2 жыл бұрын
Totally understand where you are coming from. The reason we put these exercises where we did is to pre-exhaust some of the muscle groups with more focused iso-like movements to get them fired up and relatively exhausted prior to hitting the stronger, compound style exercises. This is definitely more of a volume style workout since it's 30s on and 30s off for 20 min straight.

This was good. Had to stop and start a lot to get the right bands and placement figured out but I liked it. For some of us that are getting into this, the workouts are a huge help to know what to do. Much better than the individual videos and then guessing which ones to string together.

Thank you for this comment! Glad you liked the workout. We'll be sure to add more of them to our list. Do you like the live follow-along workout style like this, or would you prefer a different format?

@@ClenchFitness hey thanks for the quick reply!! yes! I'm not an expert at this so it's helpful to have the guided workout. Plus as a newbie to the bands, it's good to see the various ways of using them. I do watch the various one-off exercise videos but knowing how to combine them in a workout for max effectiveness, including timing/reps/sets, is sometimes a head-scratcher for me. A side note: The handles are a good thing. However I bought the grips and am not sold on those. I have pretty big hands and with the grips on I feel like I'm a little kid trying to grab on.

Do you ever perform chest presses with the bands a little higher on your back by placing them over your head instead of from bottom up? I can secure multiple bands together and keep them from slapping me in the neck by using flexible hair ties. By going higher up my back, one can get more press resistance as your upper back is much wider. Some people may not like the arm/shoulder pinch, but I like the angle and feel much better for chest. Also, long sleeves can mitigate most of the pinching. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Hi, great job! I guess this routine is for 2 times a week (upper, lower, rest, upper, lower, rest, rest), right? I train with mini bands (hard and extra hard) and use two or more together for much harder resistance (for the legs at least since it's quite challenging for the arms). For me they are really comfortable for training, I can adapt them and even anchor them anywhere on the body. I would like to know your opinion about this type of bands. Thank you!
@ClenchFitness2 жыл бұрын
Yes, I would recommend this 1-2 times per week. Mini bands are great as well, I typically use them where it makes sense, since they are so short the range of motion can be a little bit limited, which is why 41 inch bands are more common.

Do you use regular weights more than the bands?
@ClenchFitness2 жыл бұрын
Yes, but it really depends on the exercise. I do a lot of free weight exercises combined with bands to fully customize the strength curve.

Brandon, I know you chose not to use the platform for this set of exercises and instead just stand on the bands. I'm curious what your experience is on whether the platform is gentler on the bands rather than standing on them (how much wear and tear) , or maybe there is little difference? Thoughts ?
@ClenchFitness Жыл бұрын
Hey Chris. We filmed this before we released the Footplate. I always use the plate whenever I can as it is definitely better for band durability. Also it's usually more comfortable and efficient to use the plate.
@chrisyoung8062 Жыл бұрын
@@ClenchFitness Well that makes sense. One feature of your footplate, that is lacking in the others, are the slots on all four sides. Having those anchor points as well as the channels makes for a lot of versatility as you have demonstrated in other videos.

I own all the clench fitness bands except the Gray and they are great including the very ergonomic and comfortable handles. I would like to use the 25% discount but I have all the bands!!! 😆 It's amazing what we can do with bands if we use our imagination.
