How many times have you found yourself in a sales meeting where everything seems to be going well...
But at the end of the call, instead of buying, the client says, "Let me think about it."
And days go by...
Months go by...
You never hear from them again.
So to solve these challenges, we'll have first change the way you look at sales objections.
Because when you think about, sales objections are an opportunity for you to gather more information and help the prospect make a buying decision.
The first thing we're cover is understanding why you're getting the objection in the first place.
At this point, most salespeople will get angry for frustrated because they're too focused on closing.
But a more productive way to view this is using this as an opportunity to qualify whether or not someone should be buying your products or services.
The truth is, there could be many reasons why someone doesn't buy right away.
Don't fight these reasons, but instead practice empathy and see whether or not you can help the client remove these obstacles.
The primary strategy here is to build trust with your prospects for them to be comfortable telling you the truth.

This video is gold. Just had a customer yesterday who said “let me think about it” before extending her phone contract. She seemed engaged, but in the end, this… As a response, I asked her what’s holding her back, and she said that inside her house she’s not getting reception, meaning that we are a shabby network. I thanked her for letting me know of potential issues (always presenting them as hypothetical, don’t want to make us look bad) before asking her about friends on other networks, whether they’re getting any reception in her house… she said no. So I asked if she is getting full signal outside of her house, and she said that she does, so that shut her objection down that we are a shabby network. She extended her contract, and then I upsold her by asking if she needs a spare SIM card or perhaps another one for her parents or siblings, and she literally took out another contract for her mom. All about implicating the pain points and finding solutions to them :)

Thanks Patrick! My take-aways from the vid: key to selling is to make sure it doesn't feel like you're selling! It all about building rapport and trust. I think most people dealing with salespeople have a negative association but the key is to be different, genuine and trustworthy. The challenge of course is to accomplish all of these things in a short period of time (i.e. your time with the customer). Not an easy task but clearly Patrick has perfected this.

Thank you. This was very enlightening information for me (I felt some misunderstandings, and misinformation, about "I'm not interested" and "Let me think about it" being cleared up in my head). I definitely needed to hear this, I look forward to using your tips in the field (Thanks again, I really appreciate it - I just joined your channel fam).

You can bypass those two replies if you can bond with them during the call. In a 40 minute call I can gather 5+ personal connections. I’m not sure how it happens with me but on almost every call I’m gathering personal information and sharing too. Changes the dynamic I’ve never heard someone say I’m all set or I’m not interested. I have heard it was between you and 2 others and we went with XTZ. Then I work to see if I can jump on another call. I don’t bother with the other companies I focus on mine and what they think we can’t do Bc I know we can. Turned 10-15% of those to sales.

They want a feature we don’t offer and it’s a must have. I don’t think there is an overcoming to that.

Unless it’s a feature that wouldn’t be useful to your other customers, maybe it’s too niche, this sounds like great feedback to pass on to Product or Engineering.
@stormtrooper3381
@stormtrooper3381 3 жыл бұрын
@@SL-lz9jr actually it’s an important feature it’s been in the works. The launch was suppose to be 6 months ago so when they ask for it it’s a must have situation. Not really much I can do. Not saying I don’t give some concession like when it does arrive 6 months will be free and I’ll add you to the beta group ASAP. But yeah little tough to bypass when it’s a big feature.

Hi Patrick, I have been seeing your for few days. I found out that it were funtastic, informative and learnable. I have struggling with an objections like I want to talk to my parents, colleagues or friends then I will tell you my final decision. How can I respond for this objection?
@patrickdang
@patrickdang 2 жыл бұрын
I have a lot of videos about this objection on my video. Your goal is to either 1) get the decision maker (parents/colleagues/etc) on the phone with you and you can sell directly to them, or 2) ask the person you're calling why they might object and try to resolve their problems.

@@patrickdang 99% they will tell you. No. i will handle that. Or i will talk to them. LOL. In my culture if you try to by pass them with this ILL TALK WITH THEM....they consider it offensive and will say I SAID I WILL DISCUSS INTERNALLY AND GET BACK TO YOU.

But what when 90% of the clients you're dealing with dont know what being honest is and live a life of pure lying and will tire kick for no reason. How do we be honest and real with them, when the other side is pure cunning. They will never tell you the real reason why he wants time. Cut throat horse thieves is what ive dealt with.
