This video is gold. Just had a customer yesterday who said “let me think about it” before extending her phone contract. She seemed engaged, but in the end, this… As a response, I asked her what’s holding her back, and she said that inside her house she’s not getting reception, meaning that we are a shabby network. I thanked her for letting me know of potential issues (always presenting them as hypothetical, don’t want to make us look bad) before asking her about friends on other networks, whether they’re getting any reception in her house… she said no. So I asked if she is getting full signal outside of her house, and she said that she does, so that shut her objection down that we are a shabby network. She extended her contract, and then I upsold her by asking if she needs a spare SIM card or perhaps another one for her parents or siblings, and she literally took out another contract for her mom. All about implicating the pain points and finding solutions to them :)

Thanks Patrick. Not sure if you covered these two yet. "I'm all set" and "not interested". "No money". Happy with what I have is a big one too.

You can bypass those two replies if you can bond with them during the call. In a 40 minute call I can gather 5+ personal connections. I’m not sure how it happens with me but on almost every call I’m gathering personal information and sharing too. Changes the dynamic I’ve never heard someone say I’m all set or I’m not interested. I have heard it was between you and 2 others and we went with XTZ. Then I work to see if I can jump on another call. I don’t bother with the other companies I focus on mine and what they think we can’t do Bc I know we can. Turned 10-15% of those to sales.

Thank you. This was very enlightening information for me (I felt some misunderstandings, and misinformation, about "I'm not interested" and "Let me think about it" being cleared up in my head). I definitely needed to hear this, I look forward to using your tips in the field (Thanks again, I really appreciate it - I just joined your channel fam).

Thanks Patrick! My take-aways from the vid: key to selling is to make sure it doesn't feel like you're selling! It all about building rapport and trust. I think most people dealing with salespeople have a negative association but the key is to be different, genuine and trustworthy. The challenge of course is to accomplish all of these things in a short period of time (i.e. your time with the customer). Not an easy task but clearly Patrick has perfected this.

Hi Patrick, I have been seeing your for few days. I found out that it were funtastic, informative and learnable. I have struggling with an objections like I want to talk to my parents, colleagues or friends then I will tell you my final decision. How can I respond for this objection?
@patrickdang2 жыл бұрын
I have a lot of videos about this objection on my video. Your goal is to either 1) get the decision maker (parents/colleagues/etc) on the phone with you and you can sell directly to them, or 2) ask the person you're calling why they might object and try to resolve their problems.
@simplysurfing Жыл бұрын
@@patrickdang 99% they will tell you. No. i will handle that. Or i will talk to them. LOL. In my culture if you try to by pass them with this ILL TALK WITH THEM....they consider it offensive and will say I SAID I WILL DISCUSS INTERNALLY AND GET BACK TO YOU.

They want a feature we don’t offer and it’s a must have. I don’t think there is an overcoming to that.
@SL-lz9jr3 жыл бұрын
Unless it’s a feature that wouldn’t be useful to your other customers, maybe it’s too niche, this sounds like great feedback to pass on to Product or Engineering.
@stormtrooper33813 жыл бұрын
@@SL-lz9jr actually it’s an important feature it’s been in the works. The launch was suppose to be 6 months ago so when they ask for it it’s a must have situation. Not really much I can do. Not saying I don’t give some concession like when it does arrive 6 months will be free and I’ll add you to the beta group ASAP. But yeah little tough to bypass when it’s a big feature.

Depends on your tonality. But if I said it in a certain way, most people wouldn't think it's too confrontational.

But what when 90% of the clients you're dealing with dont know what being honest is and live a life of pure lying and will tire kick for no reason. How do we be honest and real with them, when the other side is pure cunning. They will never tell you the real reason why he wants time. Cut throat horse thieves is what ive dealt with.
