If I answered the phone and the person on the other end said "hi, I'm a little lost, can I tell you why I'm calling", I'd immediately end the call.

Thanks Patrick...I am curious about asking better questions of prospects while building rapport with them. I like them to tell me more about their being unable to achieve their desired goal, and why they think, or what they think it has been that has held them back.

Hey Patrick, I watched your "How To Cold Call - Best Script and Tips for Cold Calling " video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZm7q6Smp56sqqs) and it has a script saying: "Did I catch you at a bad time?" Time: 4:21 -- you said that this is okay. But know on this video you say that "Is now a good time to chat?" Time: 1:24 -- you said that this is NOT okay. My question is -- what is the difference between the two? Why does the other one is not okay when they kinda like sound the same? Thank you in advance if you'll answer. :)

Hey, Patrick, your videos are beneficial to me but, one problem I am facing during my call is I am confused when they say " I already have a person working for me and he is doing pretty good so why do I need to have another one?" Can you please help me with it?

Hey Patrick, once again, I liked before watching, hehehe. Love your practical content. So the first question, I'm kinda guilty of that and the funny thing is, it's worked out so far. They mostly feel like i'm being empathetic. There was one that told me she was busy and asked if I could make it short, that was all i needed and it opened the door for an enlightening conversation. Maybe it's a Nigerian thing, but i get your point. Questions 4 and 5 make sense, wow, love the perspective. Thank you for the tips Patrick, should explore them soon.

Hi, I developed an app that is pretty target group specific (it’s for tennis fans). How do I convince the people I am talking to (that mostly have no clue of the purpose of the app because they themselves don’t feel the need) that this app is in fact super cool and that they should tell their friends about it?

Hi patrick, I´m following you since your udemy courses and I like your videos. I´m from latin America., I´m working for an small company that sells high technology equipment usually considering as a capex In all companies (from 50K to 450K). We are on crisis and we need to sell more. We work with the typical call calling system, but is not too efective. What do you think about digital marketing for B2B? Could you make a video about it?
@patrickdang5 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for the question. Sometimes digital marketing can take a while to figure out especially if you're running paid ads. Personally, I feel the fastest and cost-friendly way to sell is sending cold emails and asking for meetings with companies you want to work with. I'll have videos on how to do this in the future. But I hope this helps for now.

Hey Patrick. How to counter the "I don't have time to pursue this" statement when pitching an online course?

One roadblock I face in financial sales is when the prospect asks a friend or family member for their advice even though they are not experts or don't fully understand the plan we are proposing to implement for the client. Even though the plan will save them money and work really well, the friend or family member may get in the way and gives the client bad advice. How do you overcome that?

Love your content Patrick! I have a question about dealing with over-reactive clients. This usually happens to me when I present price, which in my case ranges according to the service they're requesting. At this point, prospects either react with anger and get argumentative or feel victimized. The latter usually try to manipulate me with guilt and act like small children by nagging and whining. Both argue about feeling abused, accuse me of being selfish and treating them poorly, and say that people are supposed to help each other. Even though people like that never buy, they do seem to spread the word about being poorly treated. If you have any advice for me, I'll really appreciate it.
@patrickdang5 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for the question. You're right in that talking about price can get pretty sensitive. In these scenarios, I would actually guage whether or not the prospect has a budget before sharing your price. That way you have an idea of whether or not what you'll be charging makes sense for them. I actually have a video about this topic here! kzbin.info/www/bejne/pXOvqGiOd9CkgqM
