@Miriam-ui5pw11 ай бұрын
@speedywilliams34 I'm 40 years old and have struggled to accept why God seemingly answered "NO" to some of my prayers (things that I believed would make me truly happy). I may have to wait until the day before My Lord to ask why. But one thing I've learned is that in order to have a relationship with God, you've got to praise him through life's valleys as well as the mountain tops. I ditched my faith for Atheism a while back when I thought God didn't care about me. Now, realizing I was wrong, I return to God even though my life isn't going 100% the way I'd want. That's not the point of a relationship with God (like a genie lamp). So here I am, not just to ask God for things but to understand how I can use this messed up life to be a good servant.

Hey Cliff, people are always asking, "what about the people who has never heard the gospel, will they make it inside heaven"? Your answer is always, " I, DO, NOT, KNOW! But that answer is in Mathew24:14 There shouldn't be any excuses because the world IS getting preached all around the World right now as you speak. ❤
@MsLaetitia2611 ай бұрын
@KM-ud2twGalatiens 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! The Torah disagree with you. Zeccharia 2:10 “Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,” declares the Lord." When did your Allah came and lived among us?? ..... "Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me." Who is speaking here? God! So the Lord of Host will send God. That's in the Torah my Friend. And what do the Bible say? Jesus claimed to be God in human form. He claimed to have been sent by the Father who is also God. To back that up let's go back to the Torah. "Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country; And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people," Which prove that the Lord of Host is also God! Psaulm 100:3 :"Know that the Lord Himself is God" But it gets worse for you. Zechariah 12:10 "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and pleas for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn." So when did your Allah died?? in conclusion, Jesus who is our Lord(God)who was sent by the Lord of Hosts (who is our Father), was pierced and mourned for. Like Jesus died on the cross and we mourned for him. This is our Trinity. The Lord who is God was sent by the Lord of Hosts. The Lord poured out his Spirit (The Holy Spirit) on His people causing them to mourn. Anytime we see the LORD pour out a spirit in the Old Testament, it's always His Spirit being poured out (Ezekiel 39:29 and Joel 2:28-29). So, here the LORD is saying that he will soon pour his Spirit out upon his people. They will be a Spirit-filled people. When you sin, you sinned against God first. And that's the beauty of the Gospel. Look at Zechariah 13:1, "On that day there shall be a fountain opened for the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and uncleanness." Those who mourn the sins that led to the cross will experience the cleansing work of the cross. The cross turns our mourning into laughter, tears into joy. Which is summarize beautifully. In John 3:16, the most important passage from the Bible: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. If you refuse that then you have rejected the whole message of the Bible. And you'll have to answer the Lord Jesus one day. And Jesus said: On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’ How did people get save in the old testament?? - God's promise to Abraham that all people of earth would be blessed through following his example of trusting God's promise and being justified by repentant faith. So you got saved by trusting in God's promise. What was the promise? "I will give you this land for your descendants. I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you. I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky." But how is God gonna do that?? Zechariah 2:10 “Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,” declares the Lord. The Apostles understood it perfectly. Jesus said, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. What is the Law? It's the Will of God. All of this goes back to the promise God made to Abraham. That's how He's fulfilling His promise.

Relativism is so self-defeating. How do you stay consistent when you claim it is a problem to say someone who believes something else about the world is wrong. You end up doing to very thing you say is wrong. Relativism is a way to assert arbitrary opinions without any supporting arguments, it’s indefensible moral insanity. The moral sanity taught by Jesus Christ and the prophets have built the civilization we have today that allows mutual understanding, human value, and justice. Read the Magna Carta, the Declaration of Independence, and the preamble to the Constitution if you want the source for working social contracts and the blessings of liberty. Liberty is won through discipline and virtue as described by Christ not reveling in arbitrary self-destructive behaviors.

What you say is not true and the reason why it's not true. And I'm not saying you're lying. Maybe you don't understand why it's not true, but it's actually very simple. The subject matter that cliff was asked about is directly spoke of in the Bible. It's not hidden, it's not subjective, it's not secretive, it's not a matter of opinion, it's actually stated in the Bible. So either a as I said, as a pastor he doesn't know his Bible or b, as I also said, he doesn't want to tell the truth, not because he wants to lie, but because he's scared to tell the truth because he wants to have them listen to a certain point of view or way because he wants to try to WIN them Over to Christ and I get it. I understand he wants to win them over to Christ but if they ask an answer he has to give the truth. Booth not not say I don't know okay if he knows he needs to speak it if he doesn't know that's right. Be honest, but then you should know his Bible. Because the answer was right there. I need help with a question I heard asked. It was, relating to a verse where the Bible said no one know the day or the hour of the 2nd coming except God. It also said that the son also doesn’t know. The question was how can that be if Jesus is God? Can someone please explain this?
@paulwilfridhunt10 ай бұрын
Shall a son say he loves his father but honours him not? In the home of the son are photographs of his own children proudly displayed, but not of the father of who bore this dishonouring son. Ephesians 6:1-8 KJV Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise; that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

9:28--The answer to this question is yes. You will be forgiven, and you will go to Heaven if you truly never knew God or Jesus. Like if you were born of another faith and lived that faith, and never even heard of Jesus, God, or the Bible, that sin IS forgiven. Because you truly did not know. But if you come to know Jesus, and reject Him for your original God, then that is a sin, and that is not forgiven.

I need your help in believing that he whether it’s god or jesus still looks down upon me today and listens to my prayers and sees my actions to determine if i go to theoretical “heaven or hell”. please and thank you for a response.
@Hedgehogsupremacy10 ай бұрын
I’m not Cliffe, but I may be able to help. You can be sure that Jesus listens to your prayers. He promises to do so in Matthew 7:7. “Continue to ask, and God will give to you. Continue to search, and you will find. Continue to knock, and the door will open for you.” Of course, if you pray things outside of God’s Will, those prayers won’t be answered. Like, “Hey, God, kill this dude I don’t like!” We know praying stuff like that is wrong because Jesus teaches to love your enemy. But if you ask God for help in a time of crisis, He is sure to hear you. Jesus is a man of His word. And it will be hard to believe it sometimes. I’ve had times where I didn’t believe it myself. But God is so, so faithful. I hope this helps.

God is perfectly just, and perfectly loving. Because He has declared that the wage of sin is death, we cannot be granted eternal life on our own, because we are all sinners. Jesus paid the price by dying on the cross for us and bridging the gap between us and God. Thereby executing both his perfect justice by paying our price of sin, and his perfect love by sacrificing himself for the sake of everyone on Earth.

its interesting to see how hard it is for people to understand the idea of creation. God didnt "come from anywhere" and God was not created. God is creation. The very question of what created God is a paradox because God is the creator of all. It exists outside of creation. It cannot be created, needs not to be created, and never has "existed" within reality. Its a being beyond measure, understanding, logic, rationale, or reality. It does not exist and yet it is all that exists.

Cliffe nails it when he says "DidJesus accurately reveal God, or did he not"? I'm 100% sure from Cliffe's perspective, he did, but over half the population of the world (8 billion people) don't believe it, for lots of different reasons, the faith/culture/location/time you live in plays a significant part in what you believe. eg: Had Cliffe been born in Central America 3000 years ago it's highly likely he would believe in the Maya God in line with that civilization, the Hebrew God would have been totally unknown to those people. None of us when we're born get to say what part of the globe we will be born, and into what faith/culture.
