That Lat Pull (with Foot Sweep), combined with with Front Headlock double attack, is my favorite wrestling technique against non-wrestlers. Easy money every time.

Love the stuff from the clinch. Safe from strikes and leg attacks! Thanks Coach

Must win the drill! Lol. I’m in my later 50’s trying to learn some wrestling skills and it gives me fits when they want me to lean over my base for any period of time. It’s painful so it’s probably good for me.

I liked the video before even watching it 😉 After watching it, I unliked it, and re-liked it 😉 Time for youtube to create that twice like in one like button.

Recognise that you have different roles when you train. If your partner is learning something new you might just stand there. If theyre trying to learn something based on what you do, ex given: counter a hook, you feed them hooks. If they want to try under pressure or the training needs it; thats when you resist to given point. You are training your partner. Sparring is sparring but you dont learn new stuff during sparring, you see what works and what doesnt and what you need to invent.

Love this stuff, especially since having to adjust my judo to no gi I sometimes find it difficult to create the momentum to bring the opponent into my trips and throws like the ouchi/inside trip for example especially once the opponent is aware you know some judo they get very defensive
