Seeing this reminds me how much my sweet momma loved Gatlinburg and the mountains.She passed away 3 weeks ago today. She was 92 years old. I was with her when she went to her Heavenly Home. Momma was a Wonderful Christian Lady she loved The Lord and made it known to everyone.So Thank you Will and Dawn for sharing God Bless

When your at Cling mans Dome, you are in the North Carolina part of the Smokies! The blue haze is why they call that part, The Blue Ridge!

So Beautiful! Good on you and Dawn for making that hike, that s a hard trail!! Last time I was there is was so crowded you couldn't get to the observation deck.. that railing is fairly low. so it's not for those with a fear of hieghts..

Thank you for vlogging this for us. Our older daughter and her family spent the weekend in a cabin there in the Smoky Mountains. They spent most of their time in nature. Yesterday they did the hike to Clingman's Dome. They said that Gatlinburg was packed so they drove through and didn't stop.

I have been to the smokies many times and it is such a pleasure to be able to sit back while I'm having coffee and enjoy a walk around the mountains. Just beautiful...thank you...years ago my dad and nephew climbed up..he said he was going up there no matter what. Right after this trip he was hospitalized with a blood clot. My dad loved gatlinburg so much. I could never do this so I love you guys bringing this to us

We was headed back to Sc from Gatlinburg today. We went to see Elkmont which was very cool. But clingmans dome was closed today. We normally don’t go this was through Cherokee because it’s the long way. But we wasn’t in a hurry and wanted to see all of these beautiful view. They closed 441 at 630 today due to weather. But we had a great time and made many memories as a family. Love the Smokey mountains.

I just did this walk on Mother's Day with my grandma and brother! That 0.5 mile straight up is not a cake walk lol but the views at the end were well worth it!

Often you reference your first experiences in the Smokies and this video brought back my first experienece at KD as a camper the summer before my 7th grade year - in 1964! That ramp was a space age looking construction to me.

My family and I were there a couple of years ago and the clouds in the parking area were so thick you could hardly see!! And the temp went down about 20 degrees. Very awsome.

Went there in August. A random mountain storm came through right as we got there and everything got foggy and freezing cold, so we couldn't see the views like this but it was a fun experience!
