Tom Hardy was the better actor in this film. Doing dangerous stuff isn't equal to being a great actor. There are many stunt artists and "shock value" artists who do gross and extreme stuff but they aren't great actors.

Chris Chris Tom was better in this film I agree, but Leo had a more commanding role. If they had equal screen time Hardy would’ve won

He wasn't in a freezing river. Per the Missoulian: “The Revenant” is set in winter, but Krimm and the other stuntmen and doubles filmed their scenes on hot July days under bright blue Montana skies. Staggs said the filmmakers also went to Argentina to shoot snow-covered footage of a river and mountains, and the “plate shots” were layered over the Montana scenes to turn Kootenai Falls into a winter wonderland. “Then they went back to L.A. and built a river tank with a giant green screen behind it, and filled the tank with warm water,” Staggs said." That’s when DiCaprio was filmed “in” the Kootenai River.

As good for the bear attack wounds for his character. Fresh water cleaning out the flesh. Can only imagine the pain for people in those days

Island Roena yea it should be on one of those premium channels or Netflix. Best time to watch it is when it’s late, lights out , have a drink and some snacks and watch it by yourself
