Tiktok’s Trending Cloud Bread recipe
I tried making Tiktok’s trending cloud bread. It’s a little chewy on the outside and soft and squishy inside. It is similar to the taste of marshmallow. The vanilla cancelled out the eggy taste.

Ingredients: credit to @linqanaaa
3 egg whites (eggs weigh 63g each with shell)
30g sugar
10g cornstarch
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Food color:
CHEFMASTER
Sky blue
Burgundy
1. Make sure the bowl and beaters are grease free. Wipe the bowl and the beaters with vinegar.
2. Separate the egg whites and the egg yolks. You can use you hands, egg separator or an empty soda plastic bottle.
3. Preheat the oven at 350F.
4. Once the oven reaches 275F (reading at the internal oven thermometer if you have), start beating your egg whites.
5. When you see fine bubbles, add the sugar gradually.
6. When you reach the soft peak stage, add the cornstarch and vanilla.
7. Beat until stiff peaks. You’ll know when the meringue is in the stiff peak stage, just turn the bowl upside down, the meringue should not fall off.
8. Add some coloring. When the meringue cooks, the colors lighten up. If you want to have pastel colors, just put little amount of food color.
9. Place it on a parchment paper. Shape the meringue. (I struggled in separating the meringue from the parchment paper, you can grease (butter) a little the parchment paper so that the meringue won’t stick)
10. Bake for 23 minutes.
11. Cool for a minute then remove from the parchment paper. The meringue deflates easily.
12. Enjoy!
