Your definition of woke is the correct one. What makes a Black character woke or just another character is the intent behind why they're there. For example, Barrett from FF7 just happens to be Black, but he's a full character with personality, background, and arcs. But swapping the race of Nynaeve from Wheel of Time when she's from an extremely isolated village in the middle of nowhere and all the characters save one looking extremely similar due to said isolation being an important plot point is obviously just for diversity points taking priority over logical consistency in the story.

I don't know, about industries turning around... Yes I am aware it takes time to turn things around and fix the issues, but then you look at places like the MCU, Lucasfilms, Ubisoft, among other, who have project after project failing and yet the new projects are more of the same. Also no, there is one thing to critic people who only want things to go down in flames, and other to just attack people for just looking at something... Zack can't tell the difference between the two. The man seems to be on a personal vendetta against everyone and anyone who doesn't agree with him, and its being show more and more, the man even attacked Critical Drinker even when he praises good stuff like the Penguin Series.

Your sounding a lot better...The said part of this game it was meant to be the first of three games. I didn't even know this was a game or even out, I only heard of it because of KZbinrs like you. What did they think was going to happen when they had Kim write the game and have her in the credits when not to many people in the gaming landscape really don't like her to much. Yes she needs to have a job just not the way she is going about it. The combat in the game looks janky and it looks like a 360 game more the a current gen game. It's not that websites are dying, there seems to be a chokehold on smaller and indie sites. Nothing hateful was said KZbin, i know you read my comments

It's going to take years to see the results of these big gaming failures. The woke movies may flush through the system in a couple years, but games take so long we will be well into the next gen consoles before we see if the big studios have altered their path. All we can do is hope all the layoffs get rid of the bad eggs that ruined AAA gaming because we rarely see inside the studio decisions. It's not like they ever admit fault, fire people, and blame them as they are kicked out the door.
