There was a rapper named "Cool C" who had a rap crew "The Hilltop Hustlers" from Philly back in 1989-90 who got big enough that they were on Yo MTv Raps, which was a big deal. However that faded out and the Hilltop Top Hustlers had to find another revenue stream, Bank Robbery, in which Cool C and some others were involved in a Robbery where a cop got shot and killed. Cool C is still serving a Life Sentence. So I think Cool C is probably the rapper with the most jailtime, he's been in 25 + years, longer than any of these rappers have been alive.
