I use fashion as a safety net. Black jeans, black t-shirt, but a really bright bra. If things go bad, I do a headache-inducing ping-pong effect, then I rip my shirt off and do a monster rail on the mixer. Everybody starts cheering and forgets I played that Anjunabeats track on Detroit techno night. You can actually do this more than once in an evening!

What you say is so true, have confidence, have FUN. I put together a disco system a couple of years ago for step-sons wedding, ran the entire thing on auto-dj in Mixxx from my laptop, hit the "fade now " button and had a go, no one cared as already stated in the vids, prep the playlist. Done some kids partys since, even my daughters 21st. Will never DJ a club but want a controller now to try DJ properly, so these vids are great, thank you.

Also I know u said u get sweaty, I always wear a hoodie, Idk why but I feel nice doing sets wearing them.

And yeah at 7:00 people need to stfu haha I love how your dog looks at you at 7:40 when you start preaching. Andrew : "Decide what you want!" Dog: "How about some snacks?" Good video!

Honestly, you can wear or look like pretty much anything if you own it. You can go on stage in liberty spikes and a diaper, and that's it. If you own it, own yourself, own your mix, and own the crowd, everyone will remember the weird punk baby DJ, and wonder when they're playing again.
