Another song I never heard but how fun to play it on a one string instrument ! Amazing Nice tutorial !good tip on counting the number 7 beat ! I play this on the 3 string cigar box couldn’t I with just droning the open strings I suppose ! Love that you have a front porch and a back porch too. That couch looks so comfy. I think I would live on it ! ❤

Thanks for checking it out. You can actually play this one on a 2-string or 3-string CBG very easily. Just barre all 3 strings at the same fret. If it's tuned I-VI (2 string) or I-VI-I (3 string) it will give you the dominant chord. Easy peasy.

It's an old time tune you hear at a lot of Bluegrass festivals and such. Fun tune and really easy to play. Thanks for checking it out.

I hadn't heard the song. She lays taters?? You mention your other lessons but I don't remember seeing lessons before and thought it was a new thing for the channel. Anyway the song was fun and so was the lesson. (I must get hold of / make a slide).

@@musicalmiscellany plus it can't be out of tune. Only in a different tuning.

@@UncleDanBand64 Absolutely. I like to think about blues greats like Bo Diddley or Robert Johnson or Scrapper Blackwell learning on a similar instrument and thinking... ummm... yeah... that's in tune-ish.
