At 24:45, it is for self defence to extremely violent offenders, considering that they were "easy targets", is justification to allow carrying firearms to save themselves in an attack.

This is an incredible story and a very well produced documentary. You have conducted very extensive research and interviewed relevant people to obtain the wealth of information necessary for the production of this documentary. I would like to appeal to CNA not to waste the effort and to "immortalize" this wealth of information by creating a wiki page on the Wahab Brothers. Thank you in advance and keep up the good work on insightful and entertaining documentary production!

Please la... You can still never beat Roland Tan. Roland Tan served as a top fighter for See Tong during the 60s in Singapore. Killed opponents from Pek Kim Leng in 1969, fled to Amsterdam and started to deal drugs there. Got soo big that despite his organization being outnumbered 20:1 to almost every group in the entirety of the Netherlands, he still stepped foot and became the biggest heroin dealer in the whole of Europe, even managing to push Hong Kong's biggest triad in the 70s, 14K, right out of the Netherlands and became the actual drug kingpin with his organization, Ah Kong, even reportedly holding over 80% of all heroin deals in Europe alone. When he passed away on 2020 in Denmark, his residing place after he left Ah Kong, the funeral was quite big that police chief was even photographed to be attending the wake plus leaders from biker gangs like Bandidos and Hells Angels even attended the funeral.

Mata gelap means dark eyes. It became a nickname for plainsclothed detectives as they often sported black raybans or aviator style glasses which was how civilians identified them while they were deployed.

@@JohnAndJaneDoe65 Im a Mlaysian who was born in the late 70s. You could see these Dirty Hairy type of detective characters portrayed in local movies that were produced in the 80s. These days, the police force has adopted the bland corporate suit and sleeves in the name of appearing professional, regardless whether its Malaysia, Singapore or America. Very different in the times up until the 90s. The cops were fashion trend setters of a certain genre themselves. Jeans, baseball cap, black aviators with curly hair like a rock guitarist being typical. Than there was the safety boots, plain tshirt into blue jeans and a crew cut look, which was inspired by the army. Best caricatured by the character of Guyle from street fighter Back than when ideas, concepts and fashion was not dominated by corporate intrest and could be identified to segments of a society. Today popular fashion has solely become the sole domain of rappers and perhaps basketball players as it too has been turned into commercialised, monetised, corporatised and monopolised to death. Thats why grandma is still confused on why her grandson looked like 50 cent when he came to visit during last years Chinese New Year. 🤣

Singapore is still dangerous you see cases of violent attacks and gangster activities regularly in the news. Please don’t tell me it’s not as bad as last time. Singapore is just a tiny island to be able to have this frequent attacks is crazy already.
