But Tamils accepted Christianity and worked with them. So those factors emerged as a conflict between two communities. Also English invaders gave priority to Tamils and neglected Sinhalese. So so-called Indian Tamil neelaperumal (Bandaranayake), thambi mudaliyar( Jayawardena, wikeamasinghe) used Sinhalese for their votes. The same goes for Tamils . Many Indian vendors who came to Sri Lanka during British rule used Tamils against Sinhalese.

Amazing video. One small correction: there is a whole term of material just covering WWI and WWII. You literally learn a lot about these world wars. Also, in the O/L exams (at least 10 years ago when I took the O/L exams) there were two big questions with sub-questions on both world wars. All we seen are discriminating and hate by Sinhalese Government and Budist Monks all these years. This is why 3 decades of civil war Happened then the country end up in Bankrupted.
