About CNBC Prime
An entertainment network with a programming slate that is an extension of CNBC’s distinct brand. The entertainment-focused block in primetime includes programs such as Shark Tank, The Profit, Jay Leno’s Garage, American Greed, No Retreat, Undercover Boss and Secret Lives of the Super Rich.
About Shark Tank
The Sharks are looking for the best products and businesses America has to offer. Hopeful entrepreneurs come to the Shark Tank seeking an investment to start, grow or save their businesses. If the Sharks hear a great idea, they’re ready to invest using their own money. And they’ll fight each other for a piece of the action. But first, the entrepreneur must convince a shark to invest the full amount they are asking for.
This Emmy Award-winning show has been the launching pad for some of the greatest products ever sold. The Sharks, Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary, Barbara Corcoran, Daymond John, Lori Greiner and Robert Herjavec (along with other celebrity guest sharks) have made deals with - or passed on - some amazing brands: The Squatty Potty, Simply Fit Board, Bombas Socks, The Ring Doorbell, Scrub Daddy and The Original Comfy - to name just a few.
Shark Tank celebrates entrepreneurs.

Daymond is all about branding. That's crazy to turn him down, especially because he offered more money for less of a share. Also, it's nuts that kid's voice is so deep. Man.... they grow so quickly at that age! I think a lot of people underestimate Daymond. If I ever get on that show, I'm going to pick him. He's got one of the most successful investments on Shark Tank, and he knows how to hustle in the streets!

Daymonds Offer Was Simply superior due to the percentage.

I wouldn't say simply superior because obviously the kid thought he knew something we don't. But I agree they should've went with Daymond for such lower percentage.

Its main appeal is to the blue collar, king of the hill type of consumer. Its patented, so it cant be easily replicated, and they have the biggest foot in the door. The USA is probably the biggest buyer of this kinds of products, since Americans typically focus on their homes much more than other nationalities, therefore they dont even really need to expand into the EU or Australia. They're going to be set when a larger company acquires them and they walk away with tens of millions of dollars in the aftermath.

Kudos to their success, but this proves that people will buy anything. It is not that significant of a product, but if enough people think it has perceived value then guess what, you're going to make money. "Put that plastic cup with a lid on the card honey."
