Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

The legendary cast of Greg!!!!! One-of-a-kind
@WizzleThump
@WizzleThump Жыл бұрын
It's litterally the way most kids start casting. Both my sons and nephews started like that cause it's much easier for the less corrdinated. However, all of them on their own switched over to the more tradional "non 3 year old looking" casting style. I'm assuming it's cause they could tell they looked like babies, which to a kid 3-7years old, nothing is more mortifying than looking like a baby to other kids. So I'm assuming Greg didn't grow up with brothers who would have teased him non stop about his cast till he changed it, and had a dad that didn't care what his son's cast looked like to other people, or wasn't around to see what his son's cast looked like.

@@kingrafa3938 How awful and ineffective that casting is. Anyone who fishes cringes every time he does it. Take my wife for example. She has been fishing casually for only a couple of years and yet she can hit some serious distance. Greg has been doing this for years yet struggles to hit 30yds. That is why he struggled to catch when he was out with Ramos. Worse, it is a core survival skill. He refuses to learn the correct way. His choice. That is sad imo.
