I didn't even know that piano sheet music for Nirvana existed. I don't use "playing by ear" an excuse for being bad. Saying that I play by ear doesn't mean I lack confidence. And I don't think I'm playing badly in this video. I play by ear because I learn songs quicker that way. I don't use sheet music because I can add my own personality and style to what I play, without being restrained by a certain set of notes played at a certain time. I can play with more emotion when I play by ear

Bullhsit, It's not ALWAYS an excuse. Maybe thought she knows she is good and wants credit for doing it by ear ? It's not ALWAYS an excuse. And it's up to YOU to believe that person or if the person is lying. And i bet there aren't even good piano musicscripts for these kind of Nirvana songs.
