This video is my therapy. Bikes in storage for winter☹️ Every time I start it, I feel a little twitch down there! Sounds so good. I've only put the Graves clutch kit and the 3/4 exhaust on my '13 and not a ride yet where I'm not amazed at the power. Fuck I love the R1!

What made you switch from the two brothers to graves? I know is personal preference. But is it louder? Deeper? Etc

It's lighter and had more proven numbers that has held true.

+banginpadr 3/4 as in replacing the catalytic converter, pipes leading from the cat to the cases and the cans themselves. I'd save the extra 300-500 dollars for the power commander

Hey man, So there isn't really anything that you HAVE to do, but I honestly recommend at least a flash. I personally have my own flash unit, along with a PCV, SFM and AutoTune. Its' made for one hell of a setup, and I'm constantly fine tweaking my tune. I'm also running the graves cams, upper and lower velocity stacks as well.

Hey man! When I did this video, I had a pretty rough tune on the bike via the FT module, I was also running my PCV, SFM, and AutoTune. I've ditched the Dynojet stuff, and now I'm just data loging, and flashing the ecu. The tune is a tone better, and it's running extremely strong. I think you'll find it'll be a bit quieter to begin with, but it will break in and become throaty. A buddy of mine has a 12 R1, with an Yosh system, my bike is a tad louder, and deeper. Hope that helps bro beans!

I changed both the Y pipe and the slip ons. Really the old Y pipe I had was Graves as well, it just wasn't the LINK Y pipe. There are a few changes they made to the pipe with the Link name,

Sound alone, I'd say two brother had a better tone, I'm my opinion. However, the graves is broken in now, and has a nice tone to it. I do still miss the deep tone of the TB system from time to time.

There's really no point in a full system. This bike already has titanium headers stock. You'd be better off getting a 3/4 system to eliminate the cat and save some money in the process.

Great videos Noximus. At :56 seconds you can hear a like whistle/whining sound. Ive been trying to figure out exacly what this is as my bike does the same. Would you care to explain what it is, and if its normal. sound is coming from the clutch cover area

Thanks man, I appreciate it. Well, it could be a few things you're hearing. You might be hearing the transmission gears whining, cam chain making some high pitch noises, and Air Box harmonics. Nothing harmful, just one of those things you have to live with :/

random question for you, since i dont know any other R1 guys haha.. Hows your neutral to first shift? Do you get a clunk? Im trying to figure out the best way to minimize it. So far rolling forward with clutch in seems to be the best. Just wondring if the clunk is a normal thing

Hi bro nice bike and exhaust and I like your chanel I got 2010 r1 with mjs y pipe and toce exhaust and pc5 and the mechanic tuned the bike now when I cold start the bike I press the starter it takes around 10 sec to start I caled the mechanic he told me thats how the pc5 works did you experienced this or can you help me please? All u need is an Ecu flashed my friend , dump away the pc5 coz it will just harm the setting of the Ecu and the bike itself

The bike should not cold start any differently when you're running a PC5, or any of the dynojet products for that matter. The dynojet shouldn't be running until the bike is fully warmed up. Either set my temperature, or by time in the PC5 software. Did this issue start right after you had the PC5 installed? I'm curious if the issue is related to the PC5 install, or if maybe there's another electrical issue somewhere. How does it crank over, does it do it strongly, like before you had the PC5 installed? Without looking at it, it's hard for me to be able to tell you whether it's fueling or spark related. Hopefully though, I might be able to help you out some. Like mentioned before, typically you can get your ecu flashed and save some cost, and not purchase the dynojet stuff. However, running it tandem, and setup properly will not harm your bike. If you're going to run the PC5 with an ECU flash, I'd recommend getting an auto tune, and running a zero map in the PC5. This would allow the auto tune to make fine adjustments to the bike tune, and really dial it in for you. The biggest mistake people make is running a Dynojet map, off of their site, and flashing their ECU with a map that has adjustments to it. That will cause the bike to run way too rich, and could create premature fouling, and carbon buildup.
