I never knew how the traveling cart chose its items, but I had noticed that pufferfish seemed to be an overly common thing there I just looked up the id list and sure enough, pufferfish is the first thing after a bunch (all?) the artifacts, which would all be invalid. No wonder it was chosen so often!

I think that for mobile players you touch each item, one by one. You don't click the same button. I play in pc and i regonize it's not the same. And that's ok.

I honestly think that the Statue of Blessings is actually quite reasonably balanced given that practically speaking it's actually a midgame item. Going for farming first is objectively the correct call if you're playing semi-optimally (i.e. not using predictors or anything but still using powerful strats/tech like input cancelling and starfruit wine) given just how imbalanced the different skills are, and I got my first mastery a few days into spring year 2. At that point 50/50 between a prismatic shard and some money is great for getting your tools forged, the blessing of friendship is perfect for cleaning up any villager who might be straggling with friendship status, and I can totally see blessing of waters being nice for getting your last few fish if you aren't super good at the fishing minigame. It definitely falls off once you get to post-perfection but I don't really think there's a way to balance items at that point in the game. Once you've gotten 10m gold you're probably making enough cash that even 100k is pretty insignificant (I'm not even at perfection yet and getting that wouldn't even double my income for the day with a half-complete starfruit wine setup, if anything the percentage should be more generous so it's more useful while you're still building a stockpile of cash for obelisks and gold clocks), and most of those other buffs are a nice boost while not being so significant that you base your entire day around them. The statue (at face value) serves as a nice tool to make the transition from Community Center to Ginger Island/Perfection smoother, and I think that's really valuable given just how complicated the game get at that stage.

yeah but the amount of money you get from it is dependant on how much you have made, and if you have made enough money for it to give a decent amount you also won't be needing it

@@rupertvass8793 I think the percentage of your total gold is just too low. 5k at 1mil is not worth spending a day on a wild butterfly chase, and 50k at 10mil isn't either. The first solution that comes to mind is making the percentage scale down with your total gold. Start at 5% and as you go slip down to something in the ballpark of 1% or smth once you reach 10 mil. 50k at 1 mil and 100k at 10mil feel much better than 5 and 50 respectively, at least to me anyways. Essentially tuning the amount of cash you get so that repeatedly sleeping to get butterflies isn't the best way to make money in the game. All of that being said, I don't really think that the statue is meant to serve much of a purpose after perfection anyways, given that half of the rewards are rendered useless by obtaining their perfection counterparts, and that it plays the midgame role I think it was intended for quite well. Like I said, it serves as a minor yet practical boost to make the minutiae of cleaning up your perfection grind a bit smoother.

Interesting, farming mastery was the second-to-last I went for in my casual playthrough - I prioritized trinkets (didn’t know they’d be so common) -> heavy furnace -> deluxe iridium rod (for max quality legendary fish flexing) -> etc. Very different from “optimal”, clearly 😂

I felt so targeted with the casino update bc i bought like 10 stacks of hardwood fences on the day of the update so i could get perfection before the update came out (i only needed the golden clock and was about 3 million away) also the tea sapling nerf i cry that was my go to money making strategy

It's a good moneymaker instead of being broken. It's a good boost to your day instead of being your sole income. I still use it because 10 saplings for 2500g is still a good amount of seeds, especially with summer forage seeds when you only need 3.

I don't quite understand how the blue grass works, sorry. "Goes down slower" probably means less is consumed by the animals, right? So if standard grass has 4 tufts, does blue grass have more? Or is it something else, like do coop animals eat 1 tuft instead of 2, and barn animals eat 2 tufts instead of all 4? What does "comes back stronger" mean? Does a tile replenish from a partial-consumption faster? Is there something to "remember" a fully-consumed blue grass tile and it'll regrow later somehow? Does blue grass universally grow at higher rates than the regular 65% (so it both replenishes from partial-consumption and spreads faster)?

Hi BlaDe! Recently noticed a very unfortunate bug with parrot egg trinket reforging - it doesnt reforge, other trinkets are fine. Is it possible for you to confirm that it is a bug somewhere in the code and that im not crazy? Update: i am crazy. it has requirements to max earned gold on the savefile. wont roll to 4 until i have total 2.25mil earned.

It’s 500,000g per 1% of progress; essentially however quickly you can make (ballpark) 51,435,000 gold. 135k for community center, 1.3m for the joja parrot (max, obv you can collect walnuts on your own to lower the cost), and the aforementioned ~50 mil for each perfection point. Even casually all you really need to do is build enough kegs to cycle starfruit wine and after that it’s a simple matter of time.

I'd actually go for mining first, as additional gems from gem nodes give you additional xp. Diamonds, for example, give 100 xp per gem. Also it is unclear how it stacks with Geologist, but it sounds like it would give a 50% chance for it to be doubled twice, meaning 4 gems per node. 400xp per diamond node is pretty decent, when the scythe just makes harvesting significantly faster but is no actual bonus to the amount of xp collected..

The statue of blessings is kinda disappointing. For the time you get it, 50k isn't much, infinite energy is probably not gonna help because you'll have food by this point, friendship with talking to people isn't much to begin with so it's not big buff. The only ones that will be useful by the time you get it are +0.5 speed which is nice but not crazy, +10% crit damage which is a nice buff to damage, +1 luck which is pretty nice and the fishing one which is good but situational.
