Oh, my. I could never find out why I was so stressed while I had everything under control, everything was written down in the calendar and on my to-do lists. I just had to do what was written. Hearing what Jason had to say about this over-controlling need preventing me from connecting with others and going with the flow really resonated with me. Thank you so much for the coffee talk! Have a good one ☀️🤍

I always had a problem with assigning realistic time periods for things I need to do.... and or allow a buffer between meetings and to give myself extra time when traveling somewhere. Once you do these things your days are much more relaxing and less stressful. And yes, daily small walks/breaks really do help! Thank you for sharing this helpful information.

Thank you so much for sharing this coffe talk, Sanne and Jason. I am also like the old Sanne, not writing down "what-to-do" daily and tend to plan all my schedule in my head. I'm the spontaneous type. I often get stress and pain on my left shoulder. After watching your talk with Jason, I will try to write down my schedule and be organized.

This video is so important and super helpful! I had my first panic attack in college and ended up going to the hospital because my heart rate was so high and I had chest pain. I had no clue that it was anxiety. Doctors said that there was nothing physically wrong with me, so that's when I realized it was stress-related. Knowing your triggers and what to do has helped me so much. Thank you for this, Sanne!!

This was a very nice talk! We appreciate you two sharing your insights. My biggest aide this year in my coping with stress correlates with you saying “no” in a way. Recently, I have been taking time to check in with myself. What do I want to do? What would make me happy? What would make me feel better? And then I try to just do that! Instead of getting needlessly wrapped in what I maybe should be doing or feeling bad about relaxing or feeling bad about what others may think about what I’m doing. So minor and simple but just ignoring all the dog hair that we have on the ground that should probably be vacuumed has be so helpful! Instead I have faith, trust, and confidence that everything will get done and I have that same confidence in now realizing that I can sway from the “to-do” list. It’s really just not going to kill anyone if don’t do these certain things! I have needs and taking care of those needs is so important (I used to brush my needs away in a second and ignore them!) I hope that all made sense!

Love this ! I think it's also important, especially nowadays to filter our connectivity. We are litteraly bombarded by messages and sometimes we even inflict these messages on ourselves. I try to disconnect push notifications so that, when I go to a social network, it's by choice and not cause the app is telling me to (sometimes we do that inconsciously). It also increases productivity.

I’ve had panic attacks, which I couldn’t trace to a cause, I was cosely at home, during a holiday. I really didn’t understand where it was coming from. Took me a week to figure it might be related to caffeine. I’d started drinking 1 espresso every day for a few weeks. Quit cofee to test it was the caffeine and the panic attacks disapeared pretty much immediately. Matcha or green tea also contains a lot of caffeine so it might be related to that!
