Excellent cake, I used 5 eggs in stead of 6 cause mine were big, and added 3 tsp of coffee powder cause I LOVE my coffee, and added rum essence for flavoring, half a cup of chopped walnuts into the batter itself. The cake has a beautiful soft crumb and ,most importantly not too sweet, just sweet enough. Thank you, cheers from Australia xx

You should put in English the measurements of how much to use ,every time you put in something. It’s pretty hard to finger it out , it looks good

Hafsa Toheed I guess, just guess, you may not beat the butter enough. Try to beat the butter with sugar turn to white color and double size. I will try this recipe this weekend and give you more feedback.

Hafsa Toheed Yes it does look quite dense (not airy like a sponge cake, given the beaten eyewhites). I would suggest beating the yolks separately until pale and ribbon-y, then combine creamed butter and sugar mixture.

要手勢純熟輕輕地把蛋白拌進牛油糊中。是要靠蛋白内的空氣,才可做出蛋糕鬆軟嘅口感.

可以,但要用兩至三吋高的烤盤. 材料和温度不用調整。如果妳喜歡特濃咖啡味,可多加一點即溶咖啡粉喔!

I had 2 bars of 4 oz. butter equal to 8 oz. of butter in total. 1 oz. = 28 grams. That is 8 oz x 28 grams = 224 grams.
