John playing a TesseracT riff is now my new favorite thing, next to John playing his own Monuments riff, hahah. That was a great interview, Ola! Monuments has been definitely one of my favorite bands and it's usually the band that I go back to listening the most, John is such a beast and I never get tired of listening to him riffing really hard!

I totally get what Mr. Browne is laying down about alternate picking. It always felt "thin" to me compared with straight downpicking. That's where the power is. Glad to have found this today as I was not familiar with Mr. Browne's playing. As a player for nearly 30 years I'm glad to be able to add him to the list of players that remind me how bad I suck! MK
