I totally get what Mr. Browne is laying down about alternate picking. It always felt "thin" to me compared with straight downpicking. That's where the power is. It's almost like he does a wrist-twist for quick powerful down-strokes instead of a regular down-stroke, and also, pushing the pick with his thumb and not pulling it through with his fingers. Very circular. Impressed AF!
