Most of the immigrants/refugees fleeing from Central and South America are in large part the result a brutal and costly drug war started under Reagan. Than there was the CIA coups that overthrew several Central and South American governments in which juntas who would accommodate US special interests would be put into positions of power by force. The result was decades of violence and many indigenous peoples (Mayans) fleeing for their lives. Climate Change will displace many millions more people with rising oceans while extreme weather will render some places inhospitable only adding to the migrant crisis. Denying climate science while deregulating the toxic industries fueling it will only lead to humanity not being prepared for the environmental catastrophes to come. Not acting to address the underlying issues leading to such migrant crisis's now will only lead to more refugees later. Many of the same destructive industries responsible for global warming have bought and sold the USA while actively undermining democracies all around the globe.

@@bhumphries1360 Broke down the gate and tore down the fence at Mexico's southern border. Were offered amnesty by Mexico and refused saying they just wanted passage. Several of them have records in the U.S., one of the stating that he's going to NC where his family is AFTER he got deported, after he was arrested. btw, they put 2 Mexican policemen in the hospital... and there are 3 more waves behind them now.
