@@digerati02 Please note, I have never used ben wa balls before, so I may get the definition a bit wrong…they are a pair of balls (I have seen pictures where they are stainless steel, I think?) that can be used for many things, such as tightening a woman’s pelvic floor after she has given birth. They are inserted vaginally, and exercises are performed with them inserted. I am not sure, but I think they could also be used to help with stress by putting them both in your hand and rolling them around. I think those are the same things. Anyway, happy googling!

As a Canadian who celebrates Thanksgiving in October, I can never get over the fact that Americans have two huge family holidays to celebrate back to back. The Canadian timing is highly sensible. It was historically timed to celebrate the harvest. Two months later we are ready again to celebrate the holiday season, whatever religion or reason that allows you to do so. Lots of time to get over the over-indulging that tends to go on during those times. Americans barely have time to turn around before they are doing it again. My tree also goes up mid-November as I really go over the top and put in tons of effort decorating and I want to enjoy my hard work for as long as I can. Just a commentary, not a criticism. Well, maybe sort of.

"The Canadian timing is highly sensible - it was historically timed to celebrate the harvest" isn't actually true. Canadian Thanksgiving takes place several weeks before the harvest is completed. Canadian Thanksgiving used to fall in November but after WW1 it was moved up to October to avoid clashing with Remembrance Day. The farmers complained that it was too early but they were ignored.
@kathleenclark5877
@kathleenclark5877 Ай бұрын
@@curtisw.auwaerter8914 I stand corrected. So, if it was timed to avoid conflicting with Remembrance Day, that too is highly sensible. It was nice Stephen apologized too but I don’t think that was the intention here-he is actually highlighting an important aspect of phonology that most people just don’t think about in everyday speech- Diphthongs. People use them every day without even thinking. For example the pronoun I-only one vowel when written, actually has two vowel sounds when you say it-most people just don’t realize it. It’s actually an AH followed be an EE in fast succession.

I find it's always to explain such things as what they rhyme with: "It doesn't rhyme with 'Greg', it rhymes with 'The Hague'."

Puts my teeth on edge how Americans say Crehg for CRAYG, and GREHM for GRAYUM.

Well, now we know how to pronounce Daniel Craig for his last name. Thank you for correcting your last name, which we didn't know until now, America.😂. And yes, it's a nice awkward and funny interview with 2 handsome gentlemen. ❤😂

I believe when Stephen mentioned 'Benoit threw me', it's probably because of the late WWE wrestler Chris Benoit

EVERY TIME I’ve heard Daniel interviewed in the US the bloody interviewer has called him ‘Cregg’. It took Daniel long enough to let them know!!!

The first guy to interview me for a job in the US was Craig... and I heard "KRAG". When I joined the company, I looked in the directory to find him to tell him I joined... and couldn't find a KRAG anywhere. 😞 Then I ended up on a project with him, and discovered how his name was spelled from the intro email! I only called him KRAY'G after that.

He has taken a turn, and keeps turning… enjoyed his previous acting roles that suited him. IMO.
