Hi there... Keep going to see your Grandpa if you can... He will feel better for seeing you if you can go..or phone him or send him home made cards from you, take them to the hospital with his name and ward number on the envelope if you can't get IN the hospital... I hope he gets better soon for you all. 💜❤️💜. 😊

Hi Kevin, so sorry your grandpa is sick. I will keep him in my daily prayers. I came from a farming family, but not on the large scale as you. My fondest memories are on that farm. Some days you may not feel so fortunate to be a farmer (especially in the winter), but cherish these days.

Sable, that "red wood" is cedar. It's a cedar chest. Companies like Lane used to make them and possibly still do. Girls used to get them as "hope chests" to put in items they would need when they got married, like quilts. They were really popular in the 50's and earlier. And, as others have said, cedar keeps moths away.

Hey Cole we had some 18 row folding corn heads and we got rid of them because of these reasons. The first thing that goes out and is a big problem is the hinges that fold the headers down and if they break then your stuck not picking corn till it’s fixed. Also when your on the road your road speed is slower because of all the weight on the front. I would say try and find just a standard head and not a folding.

Don't paint or coat the inside. The cedar wood has a nice smell to it if left alone. Also, don't let the sun shine into the box interior or the cedar will slowly shift over to more of a brown. And be careful sanding the outside of the box if that happens to be cedar too. Cedar is very soft and light weight and will sand away to nothing pretty quick.

I don't mind her, but does anyone really want to see her refinishing a cedar chest on this channel?

@@Mrbink01 If you don't want to see her refinishing a cedar chest, don't watch then. Nobody's forcing you to watch the damn video.

@@jimmyjack6393 If they continue with all the non-farm content, I probably won't continue to watch. Have a great day.

@@Mrbink01 I think that all of their content is related to being a farmer though... It's winter and they don't have as much "farm content" so they are doing what they would normally do. I like the fact that they keep busy with lots of other things. Life continues, even in the snow. Come back in the spring if you don't like it I guess.
